So early extension is an absolute killer for a lot of golfers. But how do we fix it? I want you to get this sort of feel in the down swing. So what we want to try and think a little bit about is your lead leg and how it sort of moves through that golf swing and how that can affect your trail leg. So we want to be feeling as you’re making this down swing, you’re putting pressure into this lead leg as you start to push it away from your golf ball. So this left hip goes away from your golf ball and that keeps your right hip away and opens up this pocket of room. If we keep this forward without it going away, the right comes forward and you can see we come out of that posture and that’s that early extension which kills our ball striking. Get to the top of that back swing. We’re moving weight into it and diagonally going to move away from that golf ball. That keeps your right hip away, opens the room, feed your hands
