did you know the most controversial part of regripping golf clubs is whether or not you take off that old tape in my opinion it’s pretty simple if the bottom tape is nice and clean like it was on this one no reason to take it off it makes the regripping process a lot easier and well majority of golfers won’t even notice that extra piece of tape

  1. Note: This is about golfers that regrip their own golf clubs. If you take your clubs to a golf shop, they should always take off the tape.

  2. Honestly you dont even need a grip. I took the grips off all my clubs and I promise youll notice the difference. Took a few strokes off my game

  3. What terrible advertising, Im not into golf but if I was would never hire you. "The customer won't realize I screwed them over because I'm lazy"

  4. I know nothing about regripping golf clubs but the fact you said "the majority of golfers won't notice" makes me think you should take it off cos if some people are going to notice why take the risk

  5. Imagine you go to rebuild a house and the contractor says “ nah let’s keep this old ass foundation and rotten studs “

  6. Im terrible and i knew there was somwthing qrong after i gor my clubs regripped. Worked out they had 3 layers so none had been taken off either time id had them changed I didnt notice the extra layer tho, only the 3rd

  7. “Did you know the most controversial part of regripping golf clubs is whether or not you want to scam your customer cuz you’re lazy and want an easier option?”

  8. I regrip my own clubs. Taking the tape off is annoying, yes. However leaving tape on literally changes the thickness of your grips. This is a big no no for me

  9. If you don’t notice a second wrap underneath your golf grip then you don’t need a new grip, you don’t have it ….. lol 😂

  10. As somebodx who never played golf the first think i thought were "thats fucking lazy" They pay you for a proper job so do a proper job. And if everyone allways leaves tje tape it gets bigger and bigger and ofc some day they will notice it

  11. Yeah those that say that .2mm is going to make the club play so different are full of it you don’t notice.

  12. Terrible advice. Always remove. Good golfers can tell when you add extra tape to even a single hand. Some pros only want an extra wrap on a certain hand. No advantage to leaving other then it’s quicker.

  13. The only issue with leaving the old, you're now dependent on that old adhesive. So why even add the new tape if you're taking that risk to begin with.

  14. NO U HAVE NO CLUE. IT'S SO IMPORTANT. THAT MANUFACTURERS HAVE DOCUMENTED INFORMATION ON EVERY PLAYER. AND HOW EXACTLY HOW THEY WANT THERE GRIPS DONE

  15. Most golfers won’t know, people that do think they’re special. Unless the tape needs replacing or more than 2 layers then u don’t need to replace

  16. Imagine some snob going like “ughh did you re-grip this club without removing the original piece of tape… ughh” 😅 golfers bro

  17. I feel the tape difference when gripping and swing weight I see the difference when I'm being handed the club.
