Uh what’s new, buddy? Yeah, didn’t uh watch much of the Zurich, so it was nice. It was actually my birthday yesterday, so uh kind of coincided Yeah, coincided with a week off. Uh spend some time with the kids, but uh excited to dive back into the CJ Cup and then uh we’re like right back into major season. We sure are. What are you turning if you don’t mind me asking? Um this was uh this was number 38. So 38 getting up there. Yeah. Wow. I was gonna say any big How do you feel about the big four zero? We just did it with my wife last year, so I kind of got uh kind of got an early look at it. It’s big. You know, it’s Yeah, it’s a big one. It’ll probably involve a golf trip of some sort. Good. Good. You deserve it. You and me both. Well, um it’s good to hear you enjoyed a little bit of a slower week. I uh my initial plan was to take a full off week and I saw that there was at least some interest in the Zurich Classic and totally got sucked back in. Ended up doing a full card, a full ownership run, even did a premium show on Wednesday night. And I wish I did not invest any money in the Zurich because I didn’t make any money in the Zurich. Um but I mean any thoughts on um Novak finally and Ben Griffin I might add as well who had been mixing for quite a bit of time and obviously had a l of strong finishes heading into this event. Um any big takeaways from the Novak victory uh Novak and Ben Griffin victories? um only that we should have bet it. It seemed seemed like a very felt pretty felt pretty obvious, very obvious team. They were both they were both playing incredibly well and it was a pretty solid golf course fit for them. I mean any golf course where the name of the game is spiking with your irons and and putting those are good spots for Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin. They rated out very well for me too. I just ended up putting all of my eggs in the Keith Mitchell JT Poston basket as well, who shot an awesome seven under par to back door uh top 20, but the prior day shot four under par in baseball. Not going to get it done. No. Yeah, I was uh very invested in them. Had uh the Philips Thor team. I think they finished fourth, so got a little tough. They were in the mix. They definitely mixed for And then I also had the uh Low Remy team. So got a little bit back, but yeah, seemed like bet Novak Griffin, bet the Hoy Guards. Could have been a very easy week if we just sort of stuck with the obvious there. So um what about Liv? I watched some Liv this weekend and I’m not typically a huge Liv watcher or a live better, but I have now bet Liv um for Dural and Mexico. And I just found out that Liv is playing again this week. And I think now that I’m actually watching it and following it a little bit more closely, I’m probably going to end up betting Liv Korea this week as well. Yeah. And I mean it’s a tough, you know, it’s a tough tour to bet because there’s a handful of guys that are literally under 10 to one or eight to one every week, right? So it’s either like you’re betting one of them or you’re betting a couple long shots. And you see these leaderboards like you saw last week, the long shots really just don’t have that much of a chance. Like even a guy like Lucas Herbert, like he’s never outside of 25 or 28 to one on this tour. Like it was not even a real long shot, right? I mean it basically yeah it’s basically just like bet or Bryson or Hatton I would add into that mix as well. Yeah I did. So last week I had Rom at six and then I just threw one dart at Bubba at 100. Um and what’s the deal with Rohm man? I bet him single bullet too and you know he finished two strokes off the lead. But what’s what’s going on with this guy? Nean Nean and Bryson just kick his ass every week. He doesn’t make enough birdies. Like you see these rounds where like Bryson or Neman will make nine or 10 birdies. Like Rom just doesn’t have those like um I don’t know if it’s putting I don’t know if it’s approach play because obviously we don’t have great data there but yeah I mean he’s playing well. I went with a couple middle uh guys this week too. So excited to lose to Nean again. I was gonna say like I haven’t decided what direction I’m I can’t believe we’re doing all this live stuff at the top, but but there is a sneaky T7 uh by one Dustin Johnson. It was good leaderboard. Like I do you do in fact have to hand it to them with leaderboard. Like that was an enjoyable Sunday watch for sure. And I I think Chipot is fine. And I think it has like cult following where some people think she pulled peek roles and I’m definitely not there. But uh I I enjoyed watching Lev and at least sweating Rom. I mean I Rahm was um he was six to1 to start the tournament. He was six to1 heading into the final round. So I thought we had a pretty good shot there. And for most of the final round, he was hovering between like 6:1 and 12 to one kind of loitering, you know, always always in the periphery where he needed to make like one or two birdies to really insert himself in pull position to win that tournament. But if Nean just keeps shooting 60s on Sunday, you’re right. Like Rom doesn’t have that in him. Yeah, I mean Rom I think he only made 10 birdies over the weekend. So, um, yeah, that’s just not going to count. Did you already bet Liv this week? Did you Is your Liv card done? Yeah, because they get the outs the odds out early. I bet Herbert um at 22 off of uh the final round 60 or 61 to be shot. Yeah. So, and then I bet DJ at 35 and that’s it. I just took those two and uh hope to have a runner. It’s a new course they’re playing. I was going to ask, do you have We can uh we’ll cover it in the Discord. Um, I can do some research on the course now that I’m actually going to It’s a Nicholas course. Uh, yeah. I mean, new course for them in Korea. I mean, Lucas Herbert won in Korea a couple years ago on the DP tour. So, that plus a Sunday 61 was about all I needed. Yeah. Um, I have nothing to back this up other than I liked what I saw last week when again he was kind of hanging around the fringes. Never really had a chance to win the golf tournament, but played well. feels to me like a Hatton spot. I don’t really have much to back that up other than it seems like every single week he almost has the same chances it feels like to win the golf tournament as someone like John Rom and you’re going to be able to get him at double the odds. I need to figure out how driver heavy of the golf course it is and whether it’s one of those dinky positional golf courses or whether it’s like a bombs away full send course. Um Devin’s in the chat. I know he bets Liv. I mean we bet we bet DJ on Jack Nicholas courses because he hits a fade, right? That’s that’s that’s just what we sense. Yeah, makes sense. So, um, that probably covers our live quota for now. We can discuss more live in the Discord. Let’s transition to, uh, to Byron Nelson. And I would say, well, I’ve talked already a bunch about the golf course. There’s some changes. There’s some big-time changes to the Bunny Ranch this year. Um, I viscerated Lanny Watkins um, and that DEI hire for for 45 minutes on the podcast. So, I I pretty much have covered my opinions on TPC Craig Ranch, but is there anything else that you want to add on uh on this golf course before we dive into the daily fantasy slate? No, I I saw the changes. I didn’t listen to your pod yet from from uh yesterday, but I assume you talked about the rough and um I Yeah, there’s an aronomy change. It’s now it’s now rye grass as a as opposed to the uh the Bermuda that we’ve seen. But didn’t they get pelted with rain? Because like I know the corn ferry tour was down there last week. Yeah, they got pelted. So um I thought it was going to play firmer but I assume that was no longer the case and uh it’s not. Got it. Okay, then perfect. I went very bomber heavy this week uh as I’m sure you might too. This is essentially just Memorial Park with worse green complexes. The way that this golf course is being presented like they’re essentially there is this new category of golf courses. It appears on the PGA tour where they still don’t want to address the distance problem headon. So, but they also don’t want to go to golf courses that have really interesting um heavily contoured greens and some thoughtprovoking architecture and you can’t really bank on the fact that you’re going to get wind or firm and fast conditions all the time. So, there’s this new um subset of golf courses on the PGA Tour, TPC, Craig Rants, Memorial Park, and Vidanta Viarta, where the literal biggest offense of the golf course is that it’s long and you are just going to have 40% of your approach shots. Now, some of them are par five, so it’s still going to elicit a low scoring average, but essentially at TBC Craig Ranch, now it was 38% of approach shots were over 200 yards last year because you had four reachable parfs. Now, you have seven par 4s that measure over 460 yards and three par threes that measure over 200 yards. And the golf course still plays as one of the five easiest courses on the PGA Tour. So, it’s literally just a long iron fast exactly like Vidanta Varta in the most extreme sense of the word. Got it. Yeah, that’s kind of what I was picking up on as well. Um, so I am skewed towards uh skewed toward distance this week for sure. Do you think in a vacuum key point in a vacuum this is a good golf course for Scotty Sheffller? like compared to other golf courses for Scotty Sheffller because I have some some takes on this. So I mean I think from a high level the answer is no. Um comparatively speaking right obviously any golf course is a good thing. Yeah he’s a massive favorite of course when you know Scotty does everything well. So every single golf course he can obviously succeed at. We are talking compared to Scottsdale, Bay Hill, TBC Srass, Austo like where does this rank in terms of course fits for Scotty compared to some of his other golf courses for you? Yeah, I would say bottom 20% only because you want of course um I’ll call it harder bogey avoidance for his ball striking. You know, he can kind of separate from the field. Like you’re going to have to make 28 birdies this week. So like I mean it’s a huge field. Anybody can get hot with a putter. Like you’re not going to see that at at a Bay Hill, right? No one’s shooting 2500 at Bay Hill. So I think there’s some variance there. But then on the flip side, I mean this is like putting Scotty Sheffller in a corner tour event. like it it’s a very very bad field and I know we’ll get into the argument this week but like I can’t imagine not playing him this week um but I understand not wanting to bet him this week um at the number well can I give you also the counterargument to why like the Scotty Sheffller that we are dealing with in 2025 is different than the Scotty Sheffller than we were dealing with in 2024 where he just won eight events like that’s not the Scotty that we have right now. But what’s interesting about the 2025 version of Scotty, like he is not his TA Green play is not at the insane level that it was in 2024 where he would finish top five basically in every event losing strokes putting like he is not the TA Green player that he was in 2024 where he’s able to do that. What’s actually more interesting about Scotty Sheffler this year, he’s putting really well. Like Scotty Sheffller’s having a really good putting year. And in the eight events that Scotty Sheoffller has played in this year, he’s gained strokes putting in six of those eight events. When we were talking about Scotty’s putter last year where like the first eight events of the season, he gained strokes putting in one or two of those. Now Scotty Sheoffller is like gaining strokes putting every single week. So I think the counterargument to that would be is that this newer version of Scotty Sheffler, all of the Teta Green stuff has gone down a little bit, but he has improved as a putter this year. That is the one overall skill category that he’s better at in 2025 than he is in 2024. Yeah, I mean it’s tough because again like his numbers are still outrageous. Um his degree numbers are still amazing. I’m just comparing him to last year and he’s getting priced like last year. Like he’s getting priced like if you’re playing Scotty Sheffller at $13,000. If he’s not finishing in the top five, like you can’t be happy with that result. Yeah, it seems like he may be trying to hit the ball further off the tea. I don’t have much there, but um I think that’s a tiny issue. His short game’s down a little bit. His short game’s down this year, but do you think like I and again this is completely anecdotal, but um I just remember hearing it from when you know he had that thing with his caddy about hold outs. He hauled out and chipped in a ton last year, right? Like insane amounts. Yeah. But he didn’t but he didn’t putt well. No. Correct. And he’s putting well now. But again, look, he’s got what, six top tens in eight events or something like Yeah, he’s still got the floor. So, um I’d be shocked if he was not sort of in the top five here on on Sunday. He’s played in eight events this year and the only time he puted poorly was the API. every single other start this year. He putted well at Pebble. He puted well at Phoenix. He puted well at Tory Pines. He puted fine at the Players. He puted really well in Houston. Yep. He puted great at the Masters and he puted well enough at the RBC Heritage where he still gained he still essentially gained a stroke putting. Now the issue is is this is um a 150 person field with a cut and there are a lot of horrendous names at the bottom. So if you’re playing Scotty Sheffler, do you still feel like you could build good six of sixes and what is the highest price player that you would play with Scotty Sheffller? because I don’t think you can build good lineups playing Scotty Sheffller and Jordan Speed together. That leaves you like $6,400 for the other four spots. You can’t do it. In fact, I RB I don’t even love lineups where my second man in is in the 9K range. I am with you. Um I happen to bet a lot of the guys who are in the low seven. So, it was very easy. You just play five of them with Scotty and you know the lineup kind of makes itself. Um, I don’t think it’s possible to play anybody above like I don’t know, maybe Benon, maybe Siwuk Kim with Scotty. Um, and I think even that is pushing it because you probably have to play three guys in the sixes. Even my Joerger even my Scotty Joerger lineups RB don’t feel great. Yeah. And like I don’t love a lot of guys in that range, which we’ll get to. Like I bet Jake Knap maybe a Scotty Knap team, but I feel like again that might be a fairly popular start for Scotty. I like I like Nap this week. I’m never a Nap guy, but I haven’t bet him yet, but he’s on my short list. Yeah, I think a Scotty Knap team is more reasonable because you can still get three guys from the sevens at that point. Um, and then just have to grab one punt basically. Like basically the way that I would probably build Scotty lineups if I end up playing Scotty is like I’ll give you um I’m not going to give a full lineup away in case I play this in my single entry, but I’ll give you five out of the six slots. You play Scotty and then your second man in is Taylor Moore, who I love this week. Like Taylor Moore is one of my favorite plays on this slate. And then you can essentially go Scotty and five guys between 7.5K and 7K. Like that’s kind of how that’s kind of how you have to do it. And you just load up on all of the course fits that we love where it’s Scotty, Toasty, Valamaki, Taylor Moore, Jesper, Spencson, all of these driver putter guys. I just I think that’s going to be pretty popular. Yeah. And again, I’m not going to give away uh my whole team, but yeah, the team that I built um with Scotty, the other five guys were between seven and 7.5 probably. Yeah, the highest was Isaiah Celinda at 7.5 and the lowest would be Cameron Davis at at Yeah, there you go. 7K. So, yep, that’s the build. Um now, again, I think that’s going to be popular. So, like you might have to find somebody down in the sixes and then you can jump up and grab a nap, a Nikolai, a Rio or something like that. What do you think his ownership is this week? Um, I think we’re back in the uh 40% range for him. Maybe still under a little bit, but obviously like at the Masters, what was it? He was down to like 28 some spots. I was going to say, do you think people are happy with Scotty right now? Like I don’t I can’t really figure out what the narrative around Scotty is in the DFS space cuz like you look at a week like Heritage. Yeah. For example, and Scotty finished eighth. Okay. So, are the people that played Scotty at 30% at the Heritage like are you happy with that result? Are you going back to it? Not in a vacuum, but again, at those events too, you had so many other choices. Like there’s nobody else in this field. I’m not jumping to play Jordan Speed at 105. Um I’m not jumping to play a 10K Sunj who just missed the cut in Korea. He’s flying back from Korea after missing the cut. Like um just seems a little bit Yeah, it’s like Scotty or Bust for me this week. Would have been a good spot for him to be on Lev. Would have saved some some travel expenses. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think I’m with you, man. I think it’s a really tough call this week. I I I I I think if it’s like Scotty is nearing 40%. I do think I think it will be. Yeah. You think you’ll near 40%. I just don’t know. Like there are a lot of events now where I think people are prisoners of the moment and react a lot more to shortterm stuff in DFS than they generally should. But Scotty, has Scotty been an plus EV DFS play at his price all year? Like, is Scotty routinely winning people money in DFS this year? The He hasn’t won me money the times I’ve played him. I actually had one of my best DFS weeks of the season at the Heritage fading him when he would say probably. I guess you could have played him with JT last week, but probably not because Rory’s been winning and uh Abra won one. So yeah, like unless you’re hitting perfect combinations with Scotty, yeah, you’re not winning GVPs. Uh that’s for sure. The question is what’s the Jordan Speed ownership number and how much do you think you trust him? I think I like Spath more than you do RB. I actually think that this version of Jordan Spith, I haven’t bet him, but I haven’t crossed him off as a bet. I wish that I got like I wish he was like 24 to one, right? I don’t love him under 20. I don’t know if the way that Jordan speed is playing right now elicits him to be under 20 to1 in any field. What I will say about Jordan Spe right now that is intriguing to me, he’s starting to putt well and he’s putting better. Yes, he’s putting he’s putting better. And I think on this golf course, like it’s really interesting because the version of Jordan Speed when Jordan Spe was at his peak. But if you really think about this version of Jordan Spith that we have in 2025, especially if he’s starting to make more putts, like Spath is a bomber putter guy now. Like he’s not a And that would be my biggest concern concern about him on this golf course is like is he going to be able to hit his irons well enough to win this golf tournament? Yeah, I think that’s the key. the Iron Spike rounds and the Iron Spike weeks seem to be few and far between, right? Um, and that’s the thing for him. And again, like my concern with him just as the second favorite in the second highest price is like he just hasn’t shown that much upside. Like he’s got a lot of top 20s. He’s got one or two top 10s, but he’s not threatening to win, right? Um, and I think you know, you know what you’re getting from Scotty? You’re getting a top five. And is that worth the extra $3,000? Probably this week. But um it’s a big gap for sure. Spe has a much lower floor. Like speed can miss the cut. He’s got no floor. Scotty’s not Scotty’s not missing this cut. I’ll say that. Um I think Scotty is you’re probably penciling him in in this field for like a T7. The question is, do you feel like you could build six of six lineups with a $13,000 guy? What do you think Jordan Spath’s ownership is this week? And how do you think he compares in popularity to the other players in the 9K range? Like what’s Spath’s ownership this week compared to guys like Sunj and Sam Burns? Um I would say Spith will be second. Um got to be right. I think SP like you’re not playing Scotty and SP but how much of the field is fading both? Yeah. So probably not maybe 20. Yeah, I would say right now speed 22 23% Scotty pushing 40. So you’re talking a third of the field probably is gonna have neither in it. And like you know what those lineups like Yeah. Yeah. Maybe RB I I I could see Spath being 25 plus. Yeah, I don’t Yeah, I don’t think it’s going to get that high just because uh for people fading Scotty, I think everyone’s gonna kind of gravitate into that Jerger on maybe Seiwoo range and play two even three of those guys. Um because I think all them make a lot of sense this week. I will say this, I am because I think I’m higher on speed than you are. I think that all of my lineups this week will have either one of Jordan Spith or Scotty Sheffler. And I still may say that fading. Um, if I I because I’m I’m not sure if I’m going to end up playing Scotty this week or not. I will Well, I’ll kick it to you first. Once you get past those two at the top, what do you like in the 9K range? Yeah, I mean, I was very close to to betting Benny on this week. this uh yeah just a prolific winner at 28 to1 just didn’t make a lot of sense. So um but yeah on Jagger would probably be my top two. Um I love Sei Woo. I know you did at RBC. He probably I did and my numbers love Seiwoo every single week. But in theory, this is not as good of a golf course for SE. My numbers think it is, but I don’t think this is as good of a golf course for Sew as Heritage was because accuracy doesn’t matter at this golf course at all. And so you’re losing one of Seiw’s greatest assets. He still played great here. Yeah. And again, with the course conditions being softer, I do think it’s going to sort of mitigate that even more. Uh, where bombers are hitting more fairways and, you know, courses playing longer. So, yeah, Ben would be my favorite here, followed by uh, Jerger. Um, I think that’s going to be pretty popular though. Why can’t Taylor Pendrath just keep playing amazing at this golf course? Like, yeah, I’m not going to bet him to go back to back, but if you’re asking me my two favorite plays in the 9K range, Yeah. I would go Joerger and Pendy. Yeah, I mean the form’s been based on course FET. This is Joerger and Pendy written all over it. Yeah, this is Yeah, this is Memorial Park. This is Rocket Mortgage. Like that’s exactly what you’re looking for. His form just hasn’t been great. Definitely have concerns about his short game. I mean, I think if you’re comping this with Memorial Park, you know, you do need to chip and putt around uh these greens as well. And he’s just been awful. He Pendy Pendy has a horrendous short game, but I think this is a golf course to ignore short game. It could be. Yeah. And it could be with these conditions, but um yeah, and obviously played well um at Memorial Park last month. No surprise there. So, yeah, I think he’s going to be underrone this week, right? Um but, you know, perfect horse fit, that’s for sure. What do you think about the eights? Yeah, I mean not as allurus course as much as I would love to play him. I think it’s I don’t think so either. It’s perfect for the No, no thanks on Tom. I was going to say no thanks on Tom Kim either. No, probably not a Ryan Gerard course, but I mean what isn’t at this point? He’s just uh playing well every week. Not an Eric Cole course. Um I didn’t hate Sheamus Power. He rated out okay with me, but again just don’t I don’t love his upside. And so for me it would be uh Nap followed by Rasmus followed by Nikolai. Probably in this range I I think my favorite three in the 8K range are Nikolai, Rio H. Shout out Kyle who’s been talking talking to me this morning about Rio. And I love nap here. And I’m not typically a nap guy whatsoever, but you think about the win that he already has in Mexico. Yeah. Um and he played well at this golf course last year. Like he finished eighth here last year. I think this is a phenomenal spot for Nap. I think I would honestly like I think if I was building more balanced I would feel very comfortable with like speed Jerger Nap lineups. Now how popular is that going to be would be would be the concern. Yeah, I think that’s the build uh for people fading Scotty. Um it’s definitely going to have a lot of Jerger in there. Definitely going to have a lot of Jake Knap in there. Do you think Knap’s the the most popular guy in the eights? I think so. And again, just going by early morning, late night betting cards from last night. Uh I know Mayo’s on him. I know our Discord was all over him last night. Oh yeah, I bet him this morning. So yes, I think Nap will be the most popular here. Our Discord annihilated Sammy Volamaki and Toasty. Like literally nuked them into oblivion. Um those toasty and volamaki numbers um got shredded y last night as did Isaiah Celinda because there was a road morning. Yeah, dude. I missed that and I’m so angry about that. But I saw I had stuff to catch up on this morning and I ended up betting a 90 on Selenda. Did you get the 125? That’s an amazing number, dude. Yeah, with six places, too. Because again, like it I mean these fields with Scotty, like you almost want to look in the market without Scotty instead of Would you would you uh bet the without Scotty market this week? I’m just saying it. I just whatever. I thought about it because I’m not scared of anybody else in this field, right? Um and I thought about it, but the numbers weren’t great. So, I just I took places where I could and then a couple I just, you know, I bet a separate top five or top 10 on guys. I’m gonna and I’m gonna bet a top 10 or a matchup on Celinda as well to cover my tracks in case he doesn’t win. I think 90 on Celinda is still an amazing number. I thought 100 on Toasty is stealing. 140 on Valamaki. The way that he’s hitting his irons right now. I I don’t need to do a whole thing there because I covered him extensively on the Sunday pod. But who’s your favorites in these seven in this 7K range? because there’s just so many obvious course fits that are jumping off the page. Like there are I think there’s like four or five guys in this field that finished top 20 at both Memorial Park and Vidanta Varta. Send Maki and Toasty are three very easy ones. Yeah, for sure. And I think I’m going to uh specifically choose some guys to fade here. Um, I like Kevin U quite a bit. Um, I’m probably gonna full fade Smallley and Taylor Moore. Um, I think both of them are fine. Crazy. Taylor Moore is like the best play on the slate, dude. That’s what D says, too. But RK is still in here. RK will cuz me and RK bet 100 on Taylor Moore this morning on better golf odds. He’s 65 on other Bucks. I freaking love Taylor Moore this week as as data golf. He’s their top value above Scotty Sheffller. So, uh, he’s going to be 24% and, uh, you know, every Scott team is going to go Scotty Taylor more. So, like I guess if you’re fading Scotty, you can get away with it. But yeah, Morren Small will be out for me. I like Kevin U up there. Um, I like Michael Thorbjornson again. I think it’s a good course fit for him. Um, and then I’m gonna play Celinda just, you know, I bet him I liked him. And then there’s a billion options in the low sevens as well. Your report on data giore is very concerning. I didn’t realize that he he is their top top value above Scotty Sheffler. So every optimizer you build is going to start with those two and then potentially toss in Jake Nap and you’re Yeah. And that’s where you are. But okay. Well, if Taylor Moore ends up being the most popular guy in the sevens, then maybe I’ll just fade him in DraftKings and be very happy with my 100 to one ticket and probably a match up on him. Yeah. No, for sure. And then like you said with course fit I think the low sevens here like you mentioned a bunch of them in Toasty and Valamaki like there’s a ton of options here. I so many I bet Davis Riley again like I think it’s a good fit. Explain that a little bit more to me cuz the Discord was going crazy for Davis Riley this morning too and like I’m with you on Celinda. I’m with you. Not with you. I’m driving the bandwagon on Valamaki and Toasty. Davis Riley does not pop for me in the same way that those guys do. In my defense, uh the 180 to one last night on DraftKings was by far the best number. So, I think it was more about that, but he bombs it and he putts it pretty well. Um and he’s got a few top 10s recently. He’s won in Texas. He’s won against Scotty Sheffller. Like, um yeah, just feels like the kind of guy who could win an event like this. Um I think it’s pretty wide open, but yeah, there’s a ton of other options. Uh the other number that really uh stood out to me this morning is Cameron Davis. Um he also was 125 to1. There were still some 110s and 120s out there, but like I mean this guy’s won twice at the Rocket Mortgage, which we’re comping it to. He just had a he he was close to top 10 at Heritage in an elevated event and now he’s coming here at 125 to one. Like I don’t know. That just doesn’t seem right. Yeah. He finished he was fifth at Pebble in another elevated event. Like he is not in that class with Riley and Valamaki. Like he is better than that. Yeah. No. And your Riley case is strong as well. I kind of my numbers seem to always overlook the guy because he just has so many down so much downside risk too where he has a couple starts in there that just kill him numerically when he’s like laughably bad in finishing DFL. But I didn’t realize that he was sixth in Puerto Rico, seventh at the Valpar. He finished 20. He finished he very 21st at the Masters. Played great at the Masters. Hit his irons unbelievably well at Augusta, too. His corn ferry win was also in Texas. So, both of his career wins have been in Texas. Fifth fifth at the Mexico Open in 2022. He’s got all the concourses. Yep. 14th at Memorial Park post over seat as well. So, he is another one of those guys that’s finished top 20 at and finished ninth here uh once as well. So, kind of has all that stuff going for him. Yeah. Yeah. I got Listen, I got to do a deeper dive now on Davis Riley. I got He’s still triple digits, so it’s not like you’re going to spend very much money to bet him. You know, he’s 100 to one. So, yeah. No, it’s well said. It’s a good case, man. Um, let’s finish up at the bottom of the I mean, let me ask you this question first before we finish up with guys at the bottom. Uh, you think Taylor Moore is the most popular in this range because, you know, I’m pumping him pretty hard plus data golf is pumping it pretty hard. I do think that you’ll have to make tough decisions on the guys we love because I think that there’s a decent chance that Volamachi, Toasty, and Selinda all could be 10 to 15%. And I don’t think you should just blindly play all of those guys in the double digits. like even if even if there are great course fits, I generally as just an overhanging macro rule of thumb, I generally advise against unless it’s a small 70 person field. I’m generally not trying to play guys in the double digits in ownership in the low 7K range. Just not trying to do it. I’ll play one or two of them and maybe maybe that means choosing one of Volamaki, Selinda, Toasty, Riley Moore, but if all of those guys are between 10 and 15% I I think you got to make some tough cuts there because you can get discount versions of them. Like I don’t know how much um I don’t know how much popularity he will get but like Jesperson does all of those things too really freaking well. Yeah. I mean him uh Mattie Schmidt uh got her up like they’re all the same kind Ryan Fox like they’re all the same kind of players. So you know if you get one of them at Patrick Rogers just got mentioned in the chat that’s another guy that does the exact Gary Woodland like people forget how No, but he hits the ball a mile and uh he hits every fairway. So, you know, he’s going to finish 27th or something. But yeah, like I But if Gary Woodland is 4% and Toasty is 13% like play Gary. Play Gary. Play Gary. Um okay, finish us up here, sir, with uh the 6K range. I don’t have a ton down here. I have four or five guys starred and maybe you can help me identify a couple more because especially if I end up playing Scotty, I need to include like at least four or five of these guys in my pool and there’s literally only four guys right now that are popping for me as good plays in the 6K range. Yeah. Uh there’s definitely not uh as much this week. Um, it’s more of like play the hits type guys. So, just sort of going down. Um, I’ve seen some things from Trey Mullenax. Played well in Texas before. Shout out our guy Chris Parish. He loves Trey Mullen. He played well at Zurich, right? He played well in Zurich. He hits the ball far. He’s pretty good with uh the longer iron, so he’s interesting. Um, let’s see. Just going down there. Not much there. Uh, so raw distance, you know, Christo Lampre is in this field. Chris Ventura is in this field. Um, I still like Danny Walker a bit. He also played well with Ryan Gerard. And then, uh, I don’t really condone this, but because he’s on my betting card. Uh, I bet Luke List. He’s a 6,500. He played really well last week at the Zurich after showing absolutely nothing all year. Uh, he finished fourth with Norlander. He hit a stretch over the weekend where he was like eight under through seven holes or something. So maybe he’s just found something because he drives it really well. Um he just can’t hit an iron which is uh very strange for Lucas. But he’s made three or four cuts here. He’s 6500. So like you know if you’re trying to make a Scotty lineup work, you could do worse than Lucas. the guys that I have um starred for me in the 6K range that just pop numerically as value. EVR Mhm. Andrew Putnham, who’s obviously not a bomber, but Andrew Putnham’s one of the best putters in this field and one of those guys, if not multiple, you’re going to see a McKenzie Hughes or an Andrew Putinham player in the top 10 here. Yeah, Mackenzie Hughes is somehow 9100 in this field. So, can’t pay that price for him. I would much prefer Andrew. Yeah. Um I think I need to just fully break up with Jonathan Vegas. Like I think he is so bad. So bad. I think we were I think we were duped by what he did at the Century because or well I mean he he cashed a huge um I hit him 70 to1 at the 3M open less than a year ago and so I’m up a tremendous amount obviously on Vegas but I think I just need to realize that I caught lightning in a bottle that week at the 3M open and just be done with him. Yeah, I think so. Um, one other name here. Your guy, uh, I think Joseph Braramlet fits. That’s the other guy. Pretty well here. Yeah. Finish. You read my mind. Yeah. Uh, he’s been playing some, uh, cornfer tour. Been playing pretty well. Uh, kind of like a top 25 type guy there, but he bombs it. Uh, probably more of a first round leader type player here. But if you’re going distance, I think Bramlet makes a lot of sense. Yeah, me too, Carl. I mean, Vegas, the 3M open week was one of my best weeks in the last in the last 12 months. I I think we just got to read the room here and uh you know, be happy with what he’s provided us and go our separate ways at this point because there are so many times where I’ve played Jonathan Vegas this year and I regret it immediately. Immediately. He does the dumbest the dumbest ever. He finds water hazards and thank God there’s very few water hazards at TBC Craig Ranch, but I cannot tell you the amount of times where Jonathan Vegas will hit a long iron on a long par three into the water. Like, he loves to do that. He makes so many fives on par threes. Um, so yeah, my only guys circled in the 6K range, EVR, Andrew Putnham, and Joseph Braramlet. Yeah, I think a pretty line there. One other name, I would not play him this week because he’s coming off of injuries, but keep an eye on Norman Jeang. He was playing much better on on on the Cornferry tour. Um, he also finished 12th at the Puerto Rico Open and then he’s withdrawn from the last three of them. So, I assume he was fighting some sort of injury. Uh, but he’s got some ties to Texas as well. And, uh, he bombs it. So, you know, if he’s healthy, I think Norman Jong, more of like a top 20, top 30 guy. Makes a lot of sense. Yeah. Okay, RB, this is a pleasure as always. Um, who’s your winner? Oh gosh. Um, let’s get a little wild here. Let’s go with Cameron Davis is your winner. I’m going Volamaki. It’s Maki time. It’s gonna be a bad week for the books if Sammy Valamaki wins this week. Fall Maki time, baby. All right, RB. Um, this was uh this is a blast and um we’ll see you next time. Join ISN. Obviously, if you want more of these discussions, like I mentioned, we are unveiling uh a new tool this week that should be up in the next couple of days. I think you’re going to love it, RB, because I know that you’re a big number shopper. And so essentially what we found a way to do I mean I had the idea I didn’t execute the idea. I don’t know how to build anything like this. Obviously technological stuff like that is not really my strong suit. Um but I’m a but I’m a I’m really good with ideas. I’m a big ideas guy. And I think that this members are going to love this because number one, uh, how often in the Discord do we talk about market movement and what guy got hit, who got nuked, and so we found a way to I call it the nuke meter where you can aggregate the player that got bet down the most at different sports books. So, we we are going to have a tool now where it shows the book maker opener, the opener on all the other legal books like DraftKings, FanDuel, Bet 365, etc. And then we’ll go in three times a week, the same schedule that I do ownership, update all of the odds in there, and then you can you can not just aggregate what book has the best number for you to bet, but you can also compare to other books who got hit the hardest. Yeah, RK, super exciting. Yeah, I think people are going to love it. So, isnidportsnetwork.com, try us out for a week. This is these niche weeks like this where um I do think we have an edge on course fet and we’ll be handling the golf course with a lot of attention and care this week. And um I think there’s some money to be made here. So um hit that like and sub button as well. I always forget to say that, but uh if you love this free content and want us to keep prioritizing more free content, a like and subscribe or tweet on Twitter, all that stuff goes a very long way. Um all right, I’ll be we’ll see you next week. Cheers. All right, sounds good. Thanks, bud.
