It looks like John Elway’s agent and friend has passed away at the age of 62 after the golf cart incident. So if you’re ready to get into this story, just stay tuned. Jeff Spurbeck was John Elway’s longtime agent and friend. And like I said, he has passed away at 62 years old, officials announced earlier this morning. His time of death is listed as 11:10 a.m. Unfortunately, Jeff was on life support following Saturday’s golf cart accident where he suffered a traumatic brain injury after falling off of the back of a golf cart that Elway was driving. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but all doctors could do was keep him on life support while they arranged to harvest his organs for donation. The crazy part to me is that police didn’t initially respond to the scene at all. But it was because majority of them were working this really big music festival nearby. But after the fact, of course, now they’ve launched an investigation into the incident. But I just feel like it’s a little too late for that. So m I don’t know. John was the one who made the 911 call in a frantic effort to try and save his friend. And I just cannot imagine the amount of guilt that he must feel because he was driving the golf cart. But nobody knew that that day of just going to play golf would end that way, you know. So, my prayers go out to Spurbeck’s friends, his family, and anyone who was there to witness the situation because I’m sure it’s going to be etched in their minds for a really long time.
