today I’m going to check out a golf bag that could be yes it could be the future of all golf bags let’s take a closer look at the back n Bag from side street golf hey guys welcome back to the channel you know I love my golf bags I’m always looking for something with really good quality but it’s just a little bit different cuz let’s face it most golf bags are boring golf bags have looked the same forever that’s why I saw this baby on Instagram this is the back nine bag from side street golf in the States on Instagram there’s a picture of a guy on a motorbike riding to the golf club with this so I got in touch with Bob at side street who very kindly sent me one of these I’m going to review it today so let’s take a closer look well firstly how does it work so this is like a a backpack you’ve also got a sternum strap there and a waist strap but I’ve just had a breakfast I’m not going to attempt to do that one up you could walk with this very easily you could commute with it you could have it on a bike you could have it on a on a motorbike gosh all those days when I was a kid riding my bike with my single Strap Bag across my shoulder it was so dangerous this feels great it’s got a really cool system four-way dividers I want to show you what they’re like now so the first thing you might notice are you can’t see the heads on my irons that’s because you put them in upside down to lower your center of gravity which is a really good idea if you’re on a bike then to stop them rattling about you’ve got these straps here really good easy on easy off no bag clatter at all when I play with head pro guy here he goes nuts when I carry and all my bags are clattering about no bag clatter here guy let’s have a look inside the bag loads of pockets loads of storage and the build quality is amazing it’s really nice it’s taking side street 2 years to come up with the final design for the back nine bag they were sure that this star was a winner they want to get you to the golf course and this absolutely does that really nice quality these straps are just just like a normal backpack nice lot of padding in there nice nice comfortable back rest there as well this little pocket here has got the the waist strap if you want it the legs strap in so they’re not flapping about when you’re carrying it if you’re on your bike it’s a really good idea the legs as well I really like the design nice wide base there un likee every other golf bag so you know that’s really stable that’s not going to blow over on a windy day guys before you ask the Golf Show is 100% independent we’re not not paid endorsed sponsored by anybody either buy the stuff myself or I ask a manufacturer if I’m interested it to send it to me I make it clear it’s going to be my honest review if I love it I’ll tell you if I hate it I’ll tell you so far so good let’s take another look bag itself is super lightweight full length dividers in there lots of handles little bit of web in there to put your teas huge Pockets plenty of space in there rain Hood as well get your golf shoes in that one which is Handy if you’re on the bike to the course Pockets drinks holders more Pockets drink holder there as well it’s just sort of everything it’s really nice I know it’s a bit funky to look at but why not you know I think this is a really good quality bag the bill quality is as good as any main manufacturer these straps here are a really good idea for getting to and from the course with your clubs so when you want to get on play you can of course carry it like a backpack or you can just uncp that there you’ve got Clips everywhere the straps fully adjustable you can just make it a nice single strapper so if you’ve got a bit of traveling to do to get to your Golf Club maybe you you live in a city center you’re a motorcyclist then this could be for you you know £189 they’re now shipped to the UK which is fantastic I’ve been nothing but impressed with this bag the quality is great Bob and the team at side street are really nice guys and great to deal with as well check them out on Instagram they also do some accessories like this towel here you know it’s really hard getting into the golf Market they’ve sold a thousand of these there’s over 300ws on the website five star reviews so very impressed with these guys I really hope you enjoyed this review if you did give it a like if you loved it tell your mates check out our back catalog and please give us a subscribe and we’ll see you next time on the Golf [Music] Show I hope you enjoyed the episode of the golf show to watch another click here to subscribe click here

  2. I love that concept for folks who live in cycling or walking distance of the course, Paul. I think I saw this on Insta and it immediately piqued my interest. I'll be interested in your longer term review of what it is like actually playing with it on course to see if it is usable or not especially given your episode about carryig a bag being the equivalent of lugging around several bottles of pop.

    J’ai acheté ce sac pour un voyage golfique en Thaïlande et l’utilisation d’un scooter pour simplifier les déplacements. Il est très certainement adapté au vélo mais certainement pas au scooter. Malheureusement le sac devient un instable même en serrant les sangles a fond donc je regrette mon achat.

    I bought this bag for a golf trip to Thailand and the use of a scooter to simplify travel. It is most certainly suitable for cycling but certainly not for scooters. Unfortunately the bag becomes unstable even by tightening the straps thoroughly so I regret my purchase.
