And ready to go is Kyle Freeland and fingers crossed. No issue with the finger as Mark Stout was telling you about as we get things going, Kyle Freeland against TJ Friedel. This is on the ground to Big mike and he’s going to feed kyle. It’s a good start. Here’s Matt mclean is an infielder but playing in the D eight spot, this is bounce to back at third, gets rid of it quickly and he has mclean by a full stride, two quick outs for the Reds in the top of this first inning. De La Cruz standing in, he swings and lines it right back up the middle that’s into center field for a base hit. He has a nine game hitting streak wasting no time jumping all over the first pitch he sees and lacing a single right back up, the middle is aboard and now the batter is Hayes. There goes the runner pitches low ball four to second base on the walk of Hayes and now there’s runners at 1st and 2nd base with two outs and here comes Noel Marte crack to right base hit on for De La Cruz. That Wilson shallow right. De La Cruz scores first to third goes Hayes Noel Marte nine for his last 18. He is the Reds up a run single walk single. Here’s Spencer Steer and this is to moniak in center field that will end the inning but the Reds get the first run of the night, but Chris and Abbott has thrown the ball well through his first two starts looking for his third win today that takes strike three called over the outside corner, fastball locked up the right handed inning back and there’s one gone here in the first Briton Bouchard standing in. Here’s the 11 wang gone popped into the air right side. Griff toward right near the line. The right fielder done is over there and he’ll make the catch crossing into foul territory. And that’s the second out. Ryan Mcmahon standing in with nobody on and two outs chopped to second. Espinal 12, three. Andrew Abbott and Thiago Espinal standing in the 1 to 2 pitch. Espinal hits it on the ground between short third that will roll through into left for a base hit he’s on at first and now austin wins. This is on the ground deep, short chunk of and a great pick by to, to take an infield hit away from wins going to second with one out is Espinal one out man at second. Number nine hitter Blake Dunn, the right fielder. Ground ball to second ads got it and that’s Espinal naturally crosses to third tj Friedel with the ground ball to first this ball. Also on the ground to first big Mike’s got it no harm done by that single from Santiago. Espinal middle of two reds up one to zero. Hunter Goodman leads off with the Rockies in short sleeves. This toward the gap in right center field. It will be extra bases for hunter Goodman. He’ll cruise to second with a double 101 miles an hour off the bat. He climbs up that top rail, watch the leg kick stays above the baseball. That’s just the third hit by a righty this year against and they are three for 31. Now from the stretch for the first time is Abbott and it’s a fastball but it’s not close. And now they’re too odd for Mickey Moniak. This ball lifted high in the air fairly deep to left toward the corner chasing it is Hayes. He’ll get there moving toward the line and make the catch. The runners freeze. And now there’s one out Michael to is standing in with runners at 1st and 2nd 1 out and a base hit freezing for a moment was Goodman. He had to make sure he cleared the 6 ft seven shortstop, but Togia comes through behind in the count. The bases are loaded. So the bases are loaded for another switch hitter. Rockies, young second baseman Ariel Amador ball four and we have a tight ball game, Amador draws a walk forcing in Goodman and it’s the 1st 2025 RB I for a and now a guy who’s quietly been swinging the bat well, comes up and aaron Shunk bounce to third backhand on the lead. Hit the back throw the first double play. Oh, that’s pretty from Noel Marte to end the inning. Ellie De La Cruz. Now the hitter top by de la Cruz Mcmahon on the run fumbles the transfer. That’s the effect he knew how quick the batter runner was and De La Cruz is on for a second time. That’s a second hit for De La Cruz. Hayes. First pitch lined to right over his head. That’s off the wall. De La Cruz through second Bouchard just now gathers stop sign at third. That’s a standing double for austin Hayes who’s aboard twice today. Back to back hitters in Busch. The first pitchy Marte is an RB I single to right opposite way. Togia on the back hand. De La Cruz scores Marte best it to the bag but Elli home Hayes to third reds take a 21 lead. Here’s Spencer Steer under at third two away. That is well hit deep left and that is gone. The second of the season for spencer Steer. A 41 Reds leads Jordan Beck with a strikeout to begin the ballgame for the Rockies. It’s the only strikeout that Abbott has when this pitch hit deep to left. It’s got a chance Hayes back to the wall. It is gone four home runs in three games now for Jordan Beck , a towering shot to left field and the Rockies answer and 4 to 2, the score finding the groove offensively had that great game yesterday with two home runs, a home run in game one yesterday and one here in his second at Bat Sean Bouchard is next, he’ll loop one down the right field line giving chases done. He’s got to let a drop in front of him. He’ll catch him in one hop and fire it back in and Bouchard will hold at first base. That is four walks allowed by Andrew Abbott who had allowed only three in his first two starts. Bouchard at third, good minute second, moniak who runs wells at first, see if Michael might be able to come through again, hitting right handed against his lefty, that ball, left center field. It’s knock off the track and unfortunately go into the stands. Rockies needed a short hop off the wall there. They would have taken the lead big bike though. Is it up with that ground rule? Double? So an 0 to 2 hit by Marte keeps the inning alive for the Reds as they’ve now reached the first two hitters of the inning. And now it will be Spencer steer 22 and a swing and a miss foul never gives in. He gets steer for the first out strikeout number four. Now for Freeland. And now Santiago Espinal tapper beyond Freeland and it gets by the stabbing glove of ammo trickles into right Hayes comes home and the Reds take a 5 to 4 lead just a bad play by the Rockies second baseman. He tried to avoid the runner instead of running through runner that works out tremendously well for the Reds and that’s going to be all for free. Here comes Bud Black. He makes the move barely more than infield hit by Santiago Espinal is brought in. Austin wins. The catcher steps in. He does, he gets a strikeout. That’s big two outs that will bring up Blake and his sit through the left side base hit race fist for Marte. He jogs home and scores Blake Dunn delivers an RB I single 64 wins into the Reds pen. It’s Ian Jabo. This ball’s loud to center field long run for Fried. He’s not gonna be able to get the, it’s going to be another double for hunter Goodman Rockies going right back at it offensively. Here’s Jacob Staling walking a strikeout. The fact that they had this ball to right, this is off the wall the way and he stop at third on the double by Stalin Mickey Moniak. First pitch popped up. David Cruz and Marte over Marte in that expansive foul ground to will turn around and Then left hand for the first time to, to and he lines that the left field , it’s a base hit Goodman scores stallings being held up at third , great swing going the other way, Michael to has his third hit and the Rockies cut this to one. It’s 6 to 5. Cincinnati looks like we have a pinch hitter. Brent Doyle is the pinch hitter. He got 1st, 1st and 3rd for the Rockies and one down this ball tofield should get it done. Storms doesn’t run well, it’s hit plenty deep enough and we’re all even again, Brett Doyle off the bench in the scorebook with a sack. Fly Reds have amassed a thread bases loaded. One out tied at six in the seventh. The lone lefty in the Rockies. Pen scott Alexander is in done two hits tonight. A double in RB I down. He draws a walk. Reds take a 76 lead on the full count. Free pass drawn by Dunn Steer scores 76 and they’re still loaded back to the top of the order. Now, deep J Friedel grounded to first back Ania hits the bag and that’s all Espinal scores. That moment’s pause. Reds get another run. It’s 8 to 6. Jordan back a home run back in the third. A pair of walks. Oh boy, he’s this one, Hagan, five homers, three ball games in two days. He’s heating up now, two away here is Michael Tulia Pagan has the sign red at the belt. Here’s the 32 pitch swing and a miss. He struck him out. Reds win it 8 to 7 over the Rockies here at Coors Field in Denver.

  1. RED 7 Free pass 🙄🙄🙄 even with the COL error almost lost the game,FRANCONA have to be worry about that team ,Wynns with shameful swings 🙄🙄🙄

  2. The Rockies have one of the better city-connect unis.
The worst ones are the ones that abandon the teams primary colors altogether.

  3. Colorado must not like having a major league team in there city. Attendance like that, they won't b there long great win for reds. Not great start from Abbott, but he battles every hitter.

  4. Send a message to the owners. Stop going to Rockies games. You idiots keep supporting them and the owners laugh all the way to the bank.

  5. The Rockies ownership makes money only on the gate. They're millionaires that billionaires they need to sell the team stop going to watch these guys. These are minor league players.

  6. Not even the city connects could dig us out of the losing streak in this one. Jordan Beck has been playing well, but we haven't been winning the back and forth offensive games. It's been that way for a while, too. Sigh, pain in the rain. Sell the team. Go Rockies💜🩵🧡💛
