Paige Spiranac has put to rest rumours that she’s been involved with Tom Brady and Bryson DeChambeau, although she did admit to once fancying Xander Schauffele.
The social media sensation has become a familiar name of late, boasting 11 million followers across various platforms. With 4 million fans on Instagram and 1.6 million on TikTok, the 32-year-old previously pursued a professional golf career after showing potential during her university years at the University of Arizona and San Diego State University.
She later tried her luck on the LPGA Tour before transitioning to modelling and teaching, all while keeping a keen eye on her beloved sport. Her influencer status has also sparked significant curiosity about her personal life.
However, the internet star – who split from Steven Tinoco after four years of marriage in 2022 – has largely remained tight-lipped on the subject. While Spiranac did reveal last year that she was seeing finance executive Zach Brantly, and she was spotted with him at the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party, she has kept her romantic life private – especially her relationship with the Berenberg employee.
However, she recently confessed on her The SPINvitational show that she once had a crush on golf champ Schauffele during their time at SDSU but claimed the two-time major champion ‘wanted nothing to do with me.’
She said: “I did go to school at SDSU with Xander Schauffele, and another fun fact is I had a crush on him, and he wanted nothing to do with me.
“He met his wife Maya at SDSU, so it was meant to be. Didn’t work out for me in that way.” She also quashed rumours about her dating famous personalities, dismissing speculation that she had been involved with NFL superstar Brady and golf pro DeChambeau.
She said: “[I’ve] never been on a date with anyone famous. I’ve had pro athletes or famous people slide in my DMs. I’ve never dated anyone famous.

“It’s amusing because I’ll see all these headlines. There was one where I shot content with Bryson, and then a headline said I was ‘dating’ (him). Tom Brady was one of them, which was so crazy.
“It’s like any time I shoot content with a male celebrity, that’s the headline or all of the comments, which can be really difficult for my job where I work in a male-dominated industry…It’s really frustrating because I’ve never dated anyone famous ever, not even close.”
Last year, she confirmed her relationship with Brantly, revealing: “Yes, I do have a boyfriend. He works crazy hours and he works a lot so what we do is whoever is busier, the other person will pick up the slack.”

Addressing misconceptions about her off-screen persona, the influencer also shared that she’s quite different in private. She added: “I’m very much the opposite of the person I am online. I always say it’s my alter-ego.
“I think that’s another misconception that I’m outgoing and a party girl because of my image online. I have severe social anxiety. It’s funny that I’m doing what I’m doing now.”
