What a rollercoaster Sunday it was for South Korea’s Kim Si-woo at the 2025 PGA Tour! Heading into the final round with a one-shot lead at the RBC Heritage, fans were buzzing, hoping to see Si-woo secure what would’ve been a huge win to kickstart his season.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.

He ultimately settled for his first top-10 finish of the 2025 PGA Tour season—a silver lining in an otherwise disappointing day. While he didn’t walk away with the trophy, this marks a significant step in his return to form. It’s been a while since we’ve seen Kim consistently challenge the leaderboard, so this performance, even with its flaws, shows promise.
Credit must also go to Justin Thomas, who stayed steady under pressure and capitalized on the opportunity. Thomas drained a clutch playoff putt to clinch the win, showing exactly why he’s considered one of the tour’s top competitors.
For Kim, this tournament will be a learning experience—one he’ll hopefully grow from as the season unfolds. He’s got the talent, and if he can tighten up on Sundays, don’t be surprised to see him hoisting a trophy sooner rather than later.
