It’s not just the club — your hands need to drop too

  1. In this video with LPGA Tour player Jessica Korda,
you’ll see a move that most amateurs overlook:
Both the club and the hands drop down together.

Some players only drop the club — and end up flipping at impact.
Others drop just the hands — and still come over the top.
But when hands and club fall together, naturally and on plane,
    that’s when the magic happens.

    The key?
    It’s not about forcing it.
It’s about teaching your body to feel the right motion —
over and over, until it becomes automatic.

    Start slow.
Stand in front of a mirror.
Keep your hips and shoulders in the backswing position —
and just let your arms and hands drop down.

It might feel exaggerated at first —
but that’s exactly how your brain starts to build a new pattern.

    And when the pattern sticks,
you’ll stop flipping, stay on plane, and strike the ball cleaner than ever.

Do it slow. Do it often.
And let your swing remember what’s right.
