Another year – Another draft where Brad Holmes ZIGS and plays chess, and the 31 other teams ZAG playin checkers…. In a roundabout way, he addressed the two biggest areas where the help was needed if only just for fortification purposes, OLINE & DLINE. Outside of an edge rusher, those are rarely ever sexy picks. Our offense was already a Ferrari, all that was required at this time was an oil change. At the end of the day, the team is stronger by adding value in depth, quality athletes and competition. Defensively, yeah, probably left a little meat on the bone in my opinion, but I think Tyliek Williams is going to be great, the kid out of BSU has some serious fire and drive – watch out for him, and I LOVE that Dan Jackson selection. SO hey, we're deep, we're freaky athletic and other teams will not enjoy facing us. Not just this season, but for several years into the future….what more could you ask for?
Nolan Smith and Josh Sweat had a great game during the SB.
The Tackles in KC were not good.
Edges in Phi had an average season in totality. They weren't spectacular. The 2 DTs however were wreaking olines all season.
When we lost Hutch our Def was still dominant. When we lost McNeill it hurt, it hurt more then everyone realized. Holmes noticed and drafted accordingly. Edge wasn't the biggest need. BH and DC drafted to set us up for once were healthy we will own every oline in the league including PHI!
I love that Brad goes after his players that he believes in.. just think if we didn't have that all in type of player we wouldn't have finished 15-2 so let Brad cook and let the coaches coach..
How do you see the Center we got from ASU fitting in?
My only issue is we didn't get one of the top DEs. We still need another speedy pass rusher, maybe even 2. We need to be able to maintain mobile QBs since we face the best coming up this season. Hopefully we can get a trade or sign a free agent and their 6th round DE pans out, because Aiden cant do it all.
I grew up with TeSlaa and many are getting it wrong, but it is not pronounced like the car company TEH-sluh, but instead teh-SLAH
If the 3rd round pick was a trade up for an Edge, then I’d give this draft an A.
I just can’t understand the logic of trading up and taking a WR 3/4 instead of getting a guy who can get to the QB. You can’t tell me there’s not a guy in this draft that’s going to be a good edge.

The best part is with the kind of players we draft, we don’t have to worry about player drama/holdouts. We draft guys who just love football and are all about business.
The eagles pass rush is not as elite as everyone makes them out to be, check the numbers, if Aiden is healthy the lions have a better season in pass rushing stats. The eagles were the healthiest team in the playoffs, plain and simple. They had a great season but things have to come together for a team to win a Super Bowl. Brad’s job is to stack the roster with talent and he has done that consistently each offseason.
Jared Goff ain’t nothing. How was his performance in the playoff game we had last? Don’t put goff’s name near Patric mahomes
We had 4 aging great offensive lineman last year. How good will this youth movement be? Ragnow, and Sewell were 1st round guys

Play at home did like you did before he picked up after free agent after the draft some great players give me a portion workout we've got some s*** going on this year if we don't get hurt this defense is going to put a hurting on him it's time for Brunswick Martin to step up or for Brett Holmes Dan Campbell to move on from go back to the draft and try to find something else and I think Hassan I think he's going to be a good one I think he's going to give us at least what what he's got a motor on him that won't quit that's what they all keep saying then you can be like like West Branch improving every year and being better and better😮😂😂💪💪🥳🎆🎇🎇🎇
I'm looking with Tesla and Meeks call office to be explosive like it was when we first got and when we had St Brown and laporta I think Tesla and Meeks badass want to combination you throw into that mixing Brown laporta you're going to have a beast of a passing game so had him and Rutledge blocking for Sonic Will Montgomery I think we're going to see one hell of a running game too😮,,💪💪💪💪🥳👍😁🥳🎆🎆🎆🎇🎇🎇
P yeah let's remember everybody thought you need a Patrick mahomes you need a quarterback in scramble okay the Kansas City Chiefs had one did the Philadelphia Phillies Philadelphia eagles that ain't necessarily going to win you a super bowl either but if you got great defensive trenches a great offensive trenches you can win a game that's why the eagles win a game did so good that's why they didn't defense dominated so well anybody who's a good analyst would see that and all the rest of them are just a bunch of idiots that don't know what they're talking about
What you were talking about is like the San Francisco 49ers like Green Bay Packers you're talking about a dynasty franchise is it going to be there for the next 7 8 9 10 years at the top of our division being talked about it as a super bowl contender for the next year's decade to come that's what Brad Holmes is trying to build with Dan Campbell I said so many people that belly ache about to draft need to get behind it yo got drafted dynasty to win tomorrow cuz you ain't going to do that you got to build a team player at a time over time🎉🎉🎉💪💪👍💪👍👍💪💪💪💪🥳🥳🥳🎆🎆🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇

Mr Ford I think he finally get the plan here in Detroit I guess you finally see how great we're going to be we just have to stay healthy but even if we don't we've seen Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell have built in the backups we don't have to go to from great to shity just cuz one or two players get hurt
Brad is making sure no one can stop our running game and no one can run on us.
I’ve gone through my normal stages of emotions after the draft. Ive come to the conclusion that Brad has a different board then the simulators have and I should just skip them and wait to watch the movie that is the draft. The last two drafts have been set ups for the future and have been solid.

The draft def wasn't sexy but…beefing up the trenches was a smart approach. Now your Oline is pretty darn solid for the foreseeable future. I think adding Williams to the Dline is fantastic. Him, Alim and Hutch growing together for the next couple seasons…oh baby! Holding out hope for Gio. If he gets it, look out NFL.KeepZNtheD.
