I only had my df3 for 6 rounds and have already made more putts over 15 ft than I did all of last season! Will be staying in the bag!
Gabe I’ve tried lab putters, I still believe if you are holding the putter it can only go where your swing direction tells it to go, the argument that you don’t have to fight it wanting to turn still doesn’t make sense either. I’ve yet to see anyone putt exactly straight back and straight thru, it’s always some type of arc, I will say except for using a broomstick putter, I do think they work extremely well that way
I will get a LAB this summer!
Hey Gabe, where in Tampa would you go for a putter fitting?
I have two Labs, an Odyssey Square to Square and just ordered this. I played around with SB2 at Golf Galaxy and it is awesome! I can’t wait.
I think a 6 hole over under is worth a try
Thanks for the review Gabe. Other channels have the LAB revealer and this is the first one to preform the same way as LAB putters in the revealer. Also side note, I’m not a fan of that grip either, you can choose the jumbo straight sink fit grip by Lamkin at no extra cost when ordering.
DF3 all the way.
I have the Odyssey S2S Jailbird. It has improved my putting already this season. This putter will not turn in my hands.
I believe in the tech, I just absolutely despise a center shafted putter, looks wise, with every fiber of my being 😑 and will not be using one …just me 🤷🏻♂️
Coaches and pros will tell you that mostly putting success is due to the player not the equipment. Scam!
I thought the DF3 was going to be much larger and would look “weirder.” It’s not really that bad and in fact, I love how it looks. I’m happy with it and the performance is crazy good.
You should see if you can record that tournament…that would be awesome to see you in a tournament.
That putter is very nice looking.. but it would take some time to get used to the shaft on the center of putter. Those center shaft putter have always felt weird to me.
Hi Gabe. Just for your information, this putter is £419 in the UK. Unsure if you said Dollar price. Great test though.
Pretty putter, I like square lines (I used to wield a cleveland smart square). Pretty soon unaffordable outside the USA I imagine through upcoming trade wars. Or even in the USA itself assumin the raw material is imported before it's milled
Great review!
When you play second chance golf your putts made percentage will go up with any putter! Don’t need to spend big bucks on a putter to do that.
Curious how changing the grip would affect the torque balanceness of it. Im in the market for a torque free putter and just looking for the right one to hit my budget on the second hand market and this one is close at retail.
ever since they dissed Costco, i have no interest in ever buying bettinardi
American owned! American made is BS marketing. When you buy a Toyota 85% goes back to JAPAN. 🙄
I bought the SB1. Love it!!! You can use it to pick up the ball, I am a senior. 😊
This putter retails for $745 CDN almost as much as some drivers.
Carrollwood meadow 8th hole my favorite hole I love that course I live there
You mentioned you have tried all Zero torque putters, but I don’t believe I found a Video of you trying out “Honu” putters. I would love to see your review on that putter. Also it’s first ones I’ve seen offer option for a putter grip made by “BJM Golf”. They “BJM” make, I think a revolutionary putting grip called the “Kotahi” putting grip. Again I would love to see your review on that grip as well! Thanks for your vids, love them!
Come on, its Marketing speak, nothing more. Torque free and near torque free have been around since early 2000's, espeically center shafted putters. I can name half a dozen decades old that have already been there done that.
All equipment is best with reviewers 🤣
Does it have built in shaft lean like the LAB? I absolutely hate that!
No reason to pay $750 and wait 2-4 months for the LAB. Not kidding, the guy at the store ordered one in front of me and after picking 20 different things, it was $750 and they told him LAB is terrible with production and it will be months.
I tested the antidote and it was in within a week.
I think you have made a fundamental misunderstanding when you talked about it being balanced – you held it horizontally!, that’s not the basis of lie angle balance. It has to be torque free at about 69degrees. Only a revealer shows this up. HOWEVER I believe another YouTuber has shown this to be ok in a revealer. That’s good BUT everyone has to be consistent when describing lie angle ballance.
Would have been nice to see how it responds on mishits out of the toe and heel. I find some putters off the toe just snap hook it for me and whether that trend would continue here or not
Great video. I''m going into for a fitting this Saturday in Orlando/Reunion area. It will be interesting to see which ones ends up being my favorite…this putter looks beautiful. UPDATE: I tried this putter and ended up going with LAB DF3; just felt better off the clubface.
