  1. Why does the PGA Tour think viewership is up? Do they think it's something they've done? Nope. It's because of guys like Wesley and George Bryant, Grant Horvat, Garrett Morris and Good Good. It's also because of pros like Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson (both LIV players) who are connecting with the current and, more importantly, next generation of fans. Wesley didn't participate in any sort of sanctioned professional tournament put on by LIV Golf or any other pro tour. He participated in a YouTube video with some high profile content creators and, yes, some LIV pros. This does not seem to violate the rule if you interperate it in the spirit it was intended. What I mean by this is that YouTube golf channels didn't exist when this rule was written so it surely was intended to discourage PGA Tour members from participating in rival PROFESSIONAL TOURNAMENTS. Also, this kind of exposure to golf in general translates to more interest in golf, more viewers for professional golf tournaments, including the PGA Tour events, and thus more advertising revenue for the PGA Tour. Btw, aren't they supposed to be a non-profit organization anyways? Do they think they own these players? I thought they were independent contractors for legal and employment purposes. I hope the PGA Tour reconsiders this ban and reverses their decision. I think there will be some backlash by the millions of YouTube golf viewers if they don't. Good luck with that.
