One question has been at the back of my mind every time I read about DOGE balancing or reducing the federal budget and canceling funding for what seem like priorities such as preventing hunger in our great nation. I could list many other priorities but the question that lingers is: How much taxpayer money have we spent so far in 2025 on the president’s golf trips, for which we cover the cost of security and airfare?
