  1. Simon, I found a small company in Texas USA named Edison. Their wedges are quite nice, I have three of them. You may wish to give them a look. Take care.

  2. I've just bagged a set of cobra snakebite wedges for £150 second hand and honestly I've used the vokeys and my last set were the ping glide 4 and the cobras are fantastic clubs. They suit my attack angle perfectly they give me a super crisp contact

  3. Great show Simon, I know a lot of people are going to want to laugh or slag me off but I have just received my second of three wedges that are 50 54 58 degrees supposedly forged from temu, all three for less than £70 and can't fault them hit my 54 into a 104 yard par 3 pin high 10 inches from an ace, hit and stayed on greens my buddies stopped laughing too, I used to play with smithsworks wedges so I don't mind spending the money on good clubs but honestly have a search you can find them for under £30 each and even cheaper with certain deals, I will admit that I am going to regrip them as they are standard and I game midsize, I will do this myself as it's easy to do, keep them coming mate.

  4. I just got a set of Calloway CB wedges 48,52, and 56 used on Calloway preowned for $80 a piece. And they are practically brand new. I love them. I’m a high handicapper. Just started playing a year ago

  5. Gap wedge in the set’s the best thing I’ve done so easy to use round the greens. And can hit the number more often than not. I’m still useless with the 54 vokey tho 😂

  6. Wanted to mention that there are (also) some great component clubheads out there too.
I am using 56 and 60 degree wedges with milled faces I put together for about $40 each. Work fine for me!

  7. The s23 is awesome. Super underrated. Forged in Japan but really durable. Forgiving. I purchased new last year – SW and LW custom shaft, lie and grip for $110 each from Mizuno!

  8. I had an extra 60 degree vokey wedge that was passed on to me, but I didn't want to game it because I have my wedge matrix sorted out. Passed it on to a golf mate, and last round from 40 yards he hit it over a bush to 4 inches of the pin, nearly jarred it. This was his 1st swing with it. I instantly regretted my decision, lol. Lesson: buy old wedges because it's 90% technique, 10% about fresh grooves.

  9. Higg quality wedge with tons of mileage plus illegal groove sharpener equals great results and value..

  10. Another great video Simon. I’m a high handicap golfer in Bristol and have just bought 3 secondhand wedges, but they look almost brand new. Probably why they were £99 a club instead of your £60-£70 examples.

I got a 50°, 54° and 58° Cleveland CBX Full-Face2 wedges all with 12° of bounce. Not the CBX2 in the video but absolutely loving them.

I feel like this video just validated my wedge selection.

  11. i got a set of older vokeys (sm6/7) and i’m a high handicapper, is it worth moving them on for something more forgiving?
