  1. Wow ! As a french Humbert supporter, bravo to Fonseca ! He should be soon in the top 10 if he can dismantle so easily a good top 20 player like Humbert.

  2. When is the ATP going to fine those late grunters? If that is not clear hindrance, I don't know what is.

  3. Demasiada exhibición del dedo arriba del carioca. Ninguna humildad.
No creo que llegue a ninguna parte así, creyéndose el mejor del universo.
Ya se verá, ahí mismo en el #miamiopen

  4. Sinner, Alcaraz, and Fonseca are shaping up to be the new Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer.
Sinner is the new Djokovic—he consistently gets the ball back with incredible precision, has impeccable footwork, and serves with remarkable accuracy. But, unlike Djokovic, he brings more intensity to all his shots, adding extra weight to his groundstrokes.
Alcaraz is the new Nadal—he covers the court like few others, retrieves everything, and sends it back with interest. His shot-making is unbelievable from any position, and while he still lacks some of Nadal’s consistency (understandable at 21), he compensates with a level of finesse drop shots, volleys, and touch that Nadal never fully developed.
Fonseca is the new Federer—he dictates play with ease, takes the ball early, and imposes his will on opponents. His shot speed and decisiveness are already remarkable, possibly even better than Federer’s, though his net game is still a work in progress.

What I love about this possible emerging rivalry is how it inverts the dynamics of the original Big Three. In the past, Federer was the oldest, while Nadal and Djokovic followed closely behind, with just a year between them. Now, the roles are flipped—Fonseca is the youngest, while Sinner is actually a year older than Alcaraz (1y9m). Also, just as Federer and Nadal were first a “Big Two” before Djokovic fully emerged, we are seeing a similar pattern with Sinner and Alcaraz, with Fonseca potentially joining later to complete the trio.

  5. Fonseca vs. Sinner is going to be one of the biggest rivalries in tennis. The Big 2 has arrived. There's no room for a third. Only talent and humility are allowed here.❤🇧🇷🇧🇷🇮🇹🇮🇹🥳🥳

  6. Fonseca fans need to chill a bit. They were celebrating every point like he won the match already.

  7. Brazilians are so delusional with this kid. He is clearly a good player, but they are already expecting him to be a legend. Relax, let him win a couple Opens first.

  8. Этот чудик из 5 Б порвёт всех я твой фанат так держать Фонсека жду каждый твой матч с нетерпением
На вид как Школьник а играет так что Федерер отдыхает

  9. The kid is not lacking in confidence. I think when he strikes the right balance between playing aggressive and going all out, the rest of the tour could be in trouble.

  10. lot of these young players that have some kind of game at the beginning but time will tell.. Don't see anything special in Joaos' game just youth…His game will fade away once his body starts feeling the strains of tennis
