With Palmer Chandler winning medalist honors and teammate Jaxon Logsdon placing second, the Baker boys golf team easily won its home invitational on Monday, April 28, at Quail Ridge Golf Course.
Chandler shot a 4-over par round of 74. Logsdon was two shots back at 76. Baker’s Eli Long was fifth with a round of 80, Grant Gambleton was sixth at 81, and Jace Whitford was 10th with a round of 86.
Baker’s team score (top four players) was 311, 28 shots better than runner-up Pendleton/Griswold.
Burns/Crane was 3rd at 358; Trinity Lutheran, 4th, 366; and La Grande, 5th, 367.
