Used Pro V1 review, Titleist Pro V1 golf ball test, scuffed golf ball performance, budget golf tips, best cheap golf balls, golf ball durability experiment – all in one fun video!
Ever found a Pro V1 deep in the woods and felt like you’d struck gold? You’re not alone. In this video, I put one long-lost, beat-up Titleist Pro V1 through a full-on performance test to find out if these premium balls are still worth playing once they’ve been through the wars.
Here’s what I did:
– Played a full round of golf with it
– Hit it off trees (a lot)
– Dug it out of bunkers
– Left it outside overnight in the rain
All to answer one simple question: does a used, scuffed Pro V1 still perform like the high-end ball it’s known to be?
If you’re a budget-conscious golfer, or you’ve ever stuffed your bag with “found” balls and wondered if they’re actually doing more harm than good to your game, this one’s for you.

Thank you for an interesting video. I would still use the Pro V1 if I find one but I suspect I cant compress it well enough.😂
Crazy difference
Great video, probably time I stopped using the ProV1 I’ve used all winter 😂
I'm a 2 handicap. I'll play a ball until it is worn out to the point that it isn't responding the way I expect it to, or I lose it. If I avoid trees, cart paths, etc. It isn't unusual for me to get 3-4 rounds out of a ball. A big gotcha here though is course conditions. A wet worn out ball plays WAY worse than a dry worn out ball or a wet new ball. Water seems to latch on to any rough surfaces and will do weird things to the ball. If the ground is wet, I'll make sure I'm using a relatively clean ball
great info! thanks!
