We were treated to an amazing seminar at the USKA Fight Factory on Saturday 19th April with none other than former Undisputed World Professional Boxing Champion Chantelle ‘Il Capo’ Cameron.
Chantelle is an absolute Superstar of the fighting arts as a former Kickboxing World Champion, a former Thai Boxing World Champion and the former Undisputed Super Lightweight professional Boxing Champion and it was brilliant to have her back home at USKA where she finished off her Kickboxing career before transitioning over into boxing.
Chantelle is the only Boxer Male or Female to ever fight three consecutive Undisputed World Title Fights against three reigning Undisputed World Champions.
She is the only fighter to date to hold a Professional win over the great Katie Taylor which even more incredibly she won in Katie’s back yard at the three arena in Dublin, Ireland in 2023 against all the odds.
Chantelle, despite not currently holding a World Title belt is ranked in the top three Pound 4 Pound Female Boxers in the World right now and is the number 1 Pound 4 Pound Female boxer in the UK.
In a practical boxing workshop Chantelle put a group of 60 boxers through their paces with shadow boxing, padwork and sparring drills followed by a wonderful Question and Answer session before finishing off with a meet and greet and signing session with everyone having a photo opportunity with the champ.
Anyone who has ever met Chantelle with know how generous she is with her time and how down to earth and humble she is which is so refreshing setting a fine example to all the young athletes who look up to her.
The session was so inspirational and well received by everyone in attendance with everyone leaving with a smile on their face.
We would like to thank Chantelle for her time and for delivering a session that will be remembered for a long time and can’t wait to have her back again to work with us again in the near future.
