Now you can see just how ridiculous it is to think the spine is the axis of rotation – that would put the entire body mass on one side of the axis. I may have revealed too much here. I just know everyone’s going to copy this idea.

Hi, what an absolutely fantastic video. I did try your swing before but I couldn't really get it, now this video you've added seems to be the missing piece for me. Swinging the club now in my back garden I can feel faster and more balanced. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks.
I just noticed on your slo motion of the pro swing the hands past the "Axis of Rotation Line"
higher up than the club head. It isn't by much but significant enough, it is similar to when a high jumper throws themselves off the curve and the feet pass over the bar MUCH further down the bar than the head. I really don't understand everything I am writing but it is what I am observing and thinking about.
Great Video, thanks.
This channel is unique. Unlike other channels, this one gets you "thinking".
Even if you don't apply the methods EXACTLY, you're at least engaging critical thinking.
That term UPD really shines light on so many reasons why most channels only strike the match for some, but don't light it…especially TV commentators. I laugh almost hysterically sometimes when they describe what someone is doing or not.
Now that I've established my thoughts about the channel, I want to input some of my own knowledge (or so I think) of what this channel could do to reach a larger demographic.
1. Collaborate with other golfers that run parallel with your ideas.
2. Input your thoughts on certain products that could help us improve, or that would be better options over certain products. (shoes, gloves, grips, etc)
3. Create challenges against yourself, us, or other players you know. (friends, family, great golfers, etc)
There has to be a frustration that this channel has not emerged as one of the better sources for golf related content.
I hope I have at least sparked some new ideas, because I have no real insight of what you do behind the scenes or what you have tried up to this point.
Cheers, from MN.
Brilliant!
now i have one more thing to think about Thanks!
Every single skater is on 1 foot as they spin fast.
It is not about swinging fast….. If you are trying to swing fast….. You will never have a high club head speed.
We got there in the end, and it makes perfect sense, thanks
You’re giving it away for free boss! God bless you sir you’re changing lives. When my golf swing is out of whack my quality of life is greatly diminished. You have literally improved my quality of life by graciously providing this information. This video helped me understand the correct way to stay balanced in the downswing. Just stick your butt out!
Great analogies!
Dude you’re jacked
3 things:
You’re in fantastic shape brother!
You put out outstanding videos (not frequently enough)
I love your (what seems as frustrated) sighs!!! As if, “WHY CAN’T YOU GET THIS?!?!?!”
Keep it up man!
Hi, very interesting and logical.
Do you think this would be conducive to a little flatter lie angles as well? Or?
Thanks
Brilliant! First time I've ever heard this and it makes perfect sense. The arms will naturally be stretching out more at impact which will counteract the backward movement of your rear end so that the clubhead will be more likely to hit on the sweet spot than if you lean backwards.
I watched it again, which foot depending on the direction of spinning is important.
Craig, do you believe in the Matzie Assist swing trainer? I know you made a video about it before but I just want to know if it could benefit somebody like me? Here's a video link to my swing if you wouldnt mind taking a look, thanks.

Your last long video said the golf swing is linear, not circular. Now this video is promoting a rotational, non-linear swing. I love you man but this is why I can't subscribe, conflicting information.
By complete coincidence, after watching this video, I looked up at the TV coverage of the DPWorld tournament in China I had on and saw the young Spanish golfer Eugenio Chacarra, who won in India a few weeks ago, teeing off on the 6th hole in the final round in China. I focused on his left buttock during his swing and he gave a great display of exactly what's being talked about in this video. The TV commentator even mentioned he must be a great dancer as he was completing his swing. I'm a hopeless dancer so maybe I'll have to work at it quite a bit harder than him. Chacarra seems to get great distance effortlessly. It should be an interesting couple of hours watching the coverage and remembering this video while doing so.
You explain the process very logically. I think when we swing we subconciously allow for the weight of the club but not the weight of the arms and that creates the off balance reaction.
This is a pretty good explanation. The only other video I liked on balance is from Manuel De La torre and others who learned from him.
