The Secret Service found themselves in an unusual predicament when Donald Trump’s granddaughter’s arrival at a golf event caused a large gathering of young fans eager for her autograph.
Seventeen year old Kai Trump, a golfing prodigy set to attend the University of Miami in 2026, has high expectations within the Trump family to make a significant impact in the world of professional golf. While she struggled badly in her latest tournament, finishing in last place, she generated huge interest.
The daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump, Kai has already garnered her own fanbase among golf enthusiasts and Trump supporters, who trailed her throughout the Sage Valley course at the Junior Invitational event on Sunday.
Consequently, Secret Service agents had to trail the crowd of supporters across the course to safeguard Kai. As per the Daily Mail, Secret Service agents positioned themselves among a ‘horde’ of Trump fans, donning the President’s replica red ‘MAGA’ caps.

They were compelled to follow Kai across the course as the teenager participated in the tournament, self-proclaimed as ‘the most prestigious event in junior golf’. One agent was even seen engaging in conversation with Janice Olivencia, her golf coach at the University of Miami.
A group of young boys, reportedly ‘no older than 11’, swarmed around Kai for autographs and photos with the rising Florida star. The young golfer maintained her composure as she kindly posed for pictures with her enthusiastic fans.
However, the attention she garnered seemed to unsettle the Secret Service. The federal law enforcement agency faced an even bigger challenge as the children pursued Kai across every hole, with some ‘continuously darting across fairways’ and straying into off-limits areas. But being a Trump and a promising golfer, this is something the teenager will have to adapt to.

If she ever needs advice, Kai has arguably the greatest golfer in history on her side. Her mother, Vanessa, recently confirmed her relationship with 15-time major champion Tiger Woods after rumors circulated that they were dating.
Kai also attends the same private school, The Benjamin School, as Tiger’s children Sam and Charlie, who are also golf prodigies. They accompanied her at the tournament, with all three representing their school at the event.
She was selected for All-County for Benjamin in the Autumn and concluded her junior season ranked 151st among girls in Florida.
However, she had a tough time at the tournament. Kai scored 89 (17-over-par) in the final round and ended the tournament at 52-over, with rounds of 89-79-83-89 – confirming her position as she fell to the very bottom of the 24 participants.
