Эх… а я так надеялся, что Дракмановскую дрысню перепишут =/ Ну ладно, посмотрим что в финале будет…
Of course the goat is a taurus just like me
i felt like they are preparing for some white walkers, i got the Game of thrones vibes, wait are those golf clubs?
Day 58 of asking Greg and John to react to better man 🙏 please
Kaitlyn Dever Is such a great actress. Also, with Dina, Her reasoning for joining Ellie to the Quest makes sense since in the show she had a good relationship with Joel and was with him instead of Tommy.
I don't feel any sympathy for this version of ellie man, the way she treated Joel in episode 1 doesn't convey the same emotion as the game did. I'm not watching, I just wanted to see this episode, i already know what's going to happen so meh
Joel trying to get up is what opened the floodgates for me
Ellie Williams has now called Joel Miller her 'daddy' while speaking to someone. In canon. Once that realization hit me after watching the ep, I was gone. I'm still crying. Games didn't prepare me for this. (Yeah, had to correct a typo because I can't even write right now.)
In Palestine there is no virus but zio killing people same way…so I'm crying for are the people how are going through war and genocides over the world
I really hope they dont try and redeem abby ,that would be so stupid imo as i have always believed that the way abby killed joel is unjustifiable
They wouldnt…. WOULD they?! Man its naughty dog. They wanted us to cry here too. Ellie on Joel? Ashley singing at the end? Oh man… How much therapy is enough?
Soyboy crying
Well like I didn't play part 2 in the game I'm finished with season 2 I'll watch season 1 over and over again
The way I gasped when Abby st@bbed Joel 😭
Shed a few tears for Joel…. again 😢
This episode was incredible…
Me who has play both games , this episode was 10/10 , but my friends who never play the games are mad and upset because of Joel and actually said the episode is 7/10 I’m like bruh lol 😂
If they did the Jessie/Ellie hookup I would have lost my mind. That is something you definitely would not have seen coming.
About Abby using fists: I think it shows the similarity but different reactions between Abby doing it and Joel doing it in 1×1 to the guard. TLOU always both side of a story.
this might be an unpopular opinion but i love the fungal underground root system more than the spores in the game the roots make the infection so much more scarier
JOEL GET UP!!!
52:15 I haven't played the game, but I feel exactly like you about that scene, and it's honestly got me a bit bummed out to the point where I don't wanna watch anymore, as I was hoping for a happy ending between Eli and Joel's relationship further down the line.
Kaitlin Dever even sounds like like Laura Bayley, don't know is it accidental or no but i like this, same with Gabriel Luna, he sounds a lot like Jeffrey Pierce
16:40 That scene was giving me PTSD from the game.
Not a fan of the copy/paste element of what their doing. Killing your main character off in a TV Show is different than a video game. Pedro is the draw. Money Maker. I'm going to stop watching this now. Watched this with my brother and both of us were hoping, even praying that they were going to do a twist and keep Joel alive, the ONE reason why the 2nd game is so depressing is because fans waited 7 years to play as Joel but got their heart broken. But for them to do the exact same in the live adaption, that's losing money when they could of done things so much different. My brother's pulling away too and I know alot of fans will dip because they kill Pedro off so early. Kill Joel off in the middle or the end of the season. Pedro had so much more potential as Joel and it sucks that they just do exactly what the game does. I'm a writer myself and I know what's a bad decision and what isn't. This is the worst decision they could of done not to mention we know Ellie doesn't kill Abby in the game anyway. Joel living longer would of helped the story more. Have Tommy take the big death in the beginning if they wanted that so badly. But don't freaking copy/paste every single moment. Not to mention their getting a season 3. So who's going to be the money maker of the show since Pedro is out?? The show doesn't really have that BIG NAME draw and that's what sucks. Thing is I expected this knowing how they wrote Season 1. I just wanted to see ALOT more from Pedro's Joel in Season 2 but NOPE.
Everyone hating on bella but she KILLED IT HERE
it was literally better than game of thrones . i was amazed
35:33 "thank god they remove the spit"
same here cause personally it was uncessary and disrespectful
I broke down when Ashley started singing. Neil was right, it’s a deep cut for the gamers 😭
I would love to see how they actually go about seeing if they can make the viewer empathise with Abby. In the game the way the developers ask the question if you can empathise with her is purely by showing you that Joel killed her dad, but they’ve just revealed that. They also made Abby so sadistic, to the point that as an Abby fan, I genuinely am struggling to like her which I didn’t expect, and that’s excellent writing and acting on the writer’s and Kaitlyn’s part. I am interested to see how they go about portraying Abby to make us empathise with her, maybe through a flashback to actually show her reaction to her dad’s death and seeing how bad it affected her? And a flashback showing their relationship?
I’m loving Kaitlyn Dever as Abby! She killed it in this episode, literally
