Spent the day at the JM Eagle LA Championship at El Caballero Country Club, following some of the best in the game. One of the highlights? Watching LPGA Tour rookie Ingrid Lindblad—repping Sweden and LSU Golf (Geaux Tigers!)—handle a wild tee shot like a total pro.
On a tight par 5, Ingrid sliced her drive way right… landing at the 320-yard marker—on the wrong fairway. Instead of panicking, she laughed it off, striped a solid second shot back into play, and walked away with a stress-free par.
It was a reminder that even at the highest level, course management, composure, and a little on-course humor go a long way.
Do you freak out after a slice? Or do you just refocus and get back in play? Let me know—what’s your go-to mental game move after a wild shot?
