HIDDEN SAN DIEGO GOLF COURSE – PAUMA VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB / PAUMA¹

WATCH PART 2 HERE – https://youtu.be/CNVt1cUq60U

This hidden San Diego course is Pauma Valley Country Club and even though its not actually hidden, its a good hike away from everything. I only found out about this course a few years ago and was surprised I’d never heard of it.

  1. The intro is incredible! Love it, nice work! Love the all-black big-cat! Paul is calm and cool, just draining pars and birdies like it's his job.

  2. The 60 yard bunker shot with a backspin was real nice, you had to hit the ball just right to have a backspin out of the sand. Nicely done. 😁

  3. Great bunker shot marko! Great vids guys but what happened to the saxophone intro music? Keep up the great work guys!

  4. 100% Bill has a house there been on the driving range with him a few times even though he mostly hits on a private part of the range. Also fun fact the Skins game was played there about 50 years ago (no idea when it was actually played but it was a long time ago).

  5. Didn't know you guys had yotes in Cali…. They're so bad on my farm here in West Virginia I had to call the game warden and they trapped 47 in one weekend

  6. My grandparents were members there from 1978 until around 2000. They had their own cart. Growing up I used to take it and play holes during the afternoon because it was empty. I had the place to myself but sometimes my dad, grandma and grandpa and brothers might come long. The driving range is great. My dad pointed out a tall older guy and said, "Look, that's John Deloreon" Apparently he was at Pauma when he as going through his legal problems in the 80s. I think one of the golf pros I took lessons with might still be there. My grandparents have long since passed and so has my way in to Palma. Now I can't even afford to get near there, at least not on a teacher's salary. It was great as a kid.

  7. I'd take the cart and sneak out on 2 or 4. If I started on 2 I always skipped 3 because I didn't want the pro shop or starter to see me, as if they'd care. The course was a ghost town during the afternoons. Sometimes my grandparents, my dad, and I would play a full 18 holes. I liked to take the cart and explore, maybe play a few holes. We used to explore down the wash. The place got totally flooded out one year. My brother got stuck in some quick sand type stuff. We probably helped age their golf cart by the places we took it. Great place for a kid.

  8. I just subscribed to the channel. I have watched every video, and I have learned a lot from watching you guys play. I have been golfing for about 6 months now (from Sacramento California). I was wondering with cov19 going on. Are you guys still going to host your annual golf tournament? The best I have shot is an 86 on a 72. Still trying to beat that, but working on my mechanics still.

  9. My friend’s dad was a member for years and I was lucky enough that his dad liked playing golf with me. My favorite golf course.
