On First Take with Max Kellerman and Stephen A. Smith they discuss Tiger Woods and golf. The coronavirus has reached golf. Now golf might not have any tournaments because of the coronavirus. The Masters has been postponed until further notice. Which means Tiger Woods and many other golfers will not have an opportunity to win The Masters.
If there is a sport where not having spectators, and it could be a good thing, it would be golf. Golfers need to engage in high levels of concentration. I know all sports require high levels of concentration, but in golf you really need to be dialed in. There is talk about having the Masters, but without spectators. I think that could work. Most of the time spectators are quiet at golf tournaments. Fans do not really harass and heckle golfers like they do at NFL games or NBA games. So the absence of fans might not be that big of a deal for most golfers. Although, there are some golfers that do well under the pressure of performing well in front of a crowd.
I think golf should really try and see if they could have a major tournament without spectators. Golf will lose some money by the absence of those fans. But, golf will still make millions off of television viewers.
I will periodically give my opinion throughout this video, [COMMENTARY STYLE]. Also, thank you for checking out my channel and do not forget to subscribe.
