Rory McIlroy is awarded his Green Jacket following his 2025 Masters championship victory. #themasters

Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

  1. If he had won the Masters as his first Major title, I suspect he would have achieved the Grand Slam in no time, such was his dominance at the time. This is the hardest won to achieve. Well done Rory

  2. The way that little Poppy was sitting proudly listening to his speech and when Daddy said her name her whole body felt proud!🥰 And then at the end “I’m just gonna ring Mom and Dad.”😭🫠

  3. This would have been an incredibly difficult loss for him if he had blown that lead in the final round. He finally got the monkey off his back. If you weren’t a fan of his before this win, you may want to reconsider, what a class act. Congratulations Rory!

  5. Our thoughts with the great one who is missing, Tiger, we miss you, but life goes on in golf and new great things happen.. there were so many great shots in this tournament…but, have you ever noticed that the course itself always wins!! and in a very beautiful way here at Augusta and at all the tournament places too, thanks to those who always work tirelessly growing all that horticultural beauty!!!… so, the best golfer here is really 'runner up' to the 'masters' always fixing up the courses grounds perfectly, and its managers!!! so, way to go Rory, and this also helps with the practical side of things too for Rory, maybe some video game possibilities, other endeavors… he joined the pga at 18 and is only 35…golf is growing and there are many new faces coming along with exceptional talent…just, go play golf if you can afford it…. and we just can't think of anything bad to say about Georgia right now!!!

  6. Class act. Well done. Nobody more deserving for the work and dedication of a literal lifetime. Brought tears to my eyes when he sank that putt. We all love you Rory!!! Not another more popular champion!

  7. People r saying he was interviewed by a woman he cheated on his wife with. Maybe that's why wife looked so unimpressed. He hit a ball in a hole, he didn't teach a kid to read or save a life😢 Maybe humans should concentrate on being better humans. Morals and values still matters. Hope his wife finds peace.

  8. Don’t think “SS” exiting so quickly was intentional. Like he said “Just wanted to get out of the way.”Guess …he could have shook “Rory‘s hand.. though

  9. To bad nobody called in and reported Rory's little stance improvement pushing that pebble from under his foot like they did Paul Azenger at the Dural Open! Rory should have been disqualified for signing a wrong score card!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. ‘I gotta go and get a green jacket’. That’s a man coming to terms with the purging (finally) of years of setbacks and near-misses. Every man who has ever had challenges was in tears. Amazing.

  11. The reporter asked Bryson that particular question on purpose to create this drama. The reporter was banking on Bryson’s ego and immaturity, and Bryson didn’t let the reporter or us down. Bryson is fake, greedy and a cheater. How does he get away with anchoring his putter all the up his left arm?

  12. How long do you think it’ll take before we see a movie about this? We already have the perfect ending with that last line and closing shot.

  13. That was probably the craziest final round I’ve ever seen, and to have it happen in the Masters with Rory trying to complete the slam. He left everything out there

  14. Therapist here 👋🏾 Mentally one of the key things Rory talked about with his family and his team. Interesting enough having that value and deeper meaning ends up building self-mattering and then relates to embracing the pressure in different moments. Won’t go full deep dive but it was definitely interesting enough that I had to make my last video psychoanalyzing the mental aspects of golf

  15. Ngl you've gotta kinda feel for Scottie man he didn't have his best stuff out there but he fought valiantly and held it together quite decently on the weekend but in a way it's poetic cause when Rory was #1 he had to watch so many guys beat him at majors (Scottie included) and struggled with his game building that resilience and developing the character necessary to come back in the fashion that he has this season.

    What a champion!

  16. Herzlichen Glückwunsch Rory…du bist super sympathisch…ein toller Mensch….und für viele Golfer ein absolutes Vorbild…. Liebe Grüße von Kay aus Deutschland 🍀😊👍🏼
