Five-time major champion Rory McIlroy has been on top form so far this year, taking home three titles from seven tournaments played.
This included his Masters win on Sunday, which saw him become the first European to achieve the career grand slam – picking up his first green jacket and a cheque for $4.2m (£3.1m) in the process.
The Holywood native has also long been regarded as one of golf’s most marketable figures, finishing 2024 as the second-highest paid golfer and the 19th-highest paid athlete in the world.

How much has McIlroy earned from tournaments so far this year?
As of April 18, Rory has taken home tournament earnings totalling $13,717,042.
The majority of these winnings are from events on the PGA Tour and include titles at Pebble Beach ($3.6m) and The Players Championship ($4.5m).
His Masters title saw him win $4.2m, while his fourth-place finished on the DP World Tour in Dubai earned him $459,484.
How much does he make from endorsements?
According to Forbes, McIlroy had a net worth of $83m in 2024, generated across tournament winnings and endorsement deals.
This included endorsement payouts of $45m from deals with brands including Nike, Omega, Optum, TaylorMade and Workday.
Following his first two major titles, Rory signed a $250m 10-year deal with Nike in 2013 that the BBC called “one of the most lucrative deals in British sport”.
The deal was extended for another 10 years for Nike golf apparel only in 2017, worth an additional $200m.
It was also reported that the star’s TaylorMade 10-year equipment deal, signed the same year, was worth $100m.
