Titleist and I have a very Love/Hate Relationship. I review the latest TruFeel model and explain why even though it won’t win any awards, it’s still my favorite Titleist Golf Ball I have tested.

  1. When i was young (9 years old) the titleist DT Solo, which was the older version of the Trufeel, was my first ever golf ball. $15 a dozen back in the day could not be beaten. Loved it so much that i used it until i was in high school. i switched to the Wilson Staff model since i became a 123 mph driver swinger and needed to hold the green better. But man, the memories of that ball was great. Everything u said in this video was exactly how it felt back in the days. Great review!

  2. I will never play Pro V, but I’m kind of a sucker for their 2 piece balls and happily pick up Velocity when I find it on sale for $25ish and also love Tru Feel.

  3. Nick, the Season 5 reviews are really awesome. Loaded with stats and data for the more technical types. Also like how your cat moved that ball out of the way for you. Well trained!! 😂

  4. I was at a company golfing this week and they were giving out the new AVX and i was very surprised and pleased. Never been a titleist guy, but man it played good for me.

  5. Thanks for doing that, really like the distance/dispersion numbers. I use the Trufeel and like it a lot. Not a a Titleist fan generally -10-20 HCP, but as you said-the quality and consistency of the ball is what I like. And it doesn’t run off of the green! I like the soft feel too, but 50 is about as low as I like to go.

  6. True feel is getting better for what you are paying but the Laddie and the Pinnacle Soft are definitely better value with very similar performance. Good review Nick.

  7. Thanks for the review! I really like the trufeel and was kind of sad to see you weren’t too impressed but then when you explained who you think the ball is for you basically described my game. I lose 0-2 balls a round. Swing fast so I like the low launch. Always looking distance dispersion on off center strikes. Play very fast elevated greens at my home course so I NEED some bite. More durable than most but I will concede that it doesn’t feel very good off of any club. So far it’s my #2 ball behind the maxfli tour which are $40 a box. Can’t wait to try the new triad soon.

  8. Great review as always. Do you think you will be reviewing the new Callaway erc soft ball? An updated version was just released

  9. I didn’t like the Titleist TruFeel, they didn’t go as far as the Callaway Super Soft no matter which club I used and they didn’t hold the greens. I used the 2022 model. Supersoft>TruFeel

  10. Awe. I thought you might have said the precept laddie was better but your stuck on that pinnacle rush aren't ya? Lol, great videos man can't wait till the next one.

  11. great balls for senior golfers. get good distance and playability, get about 2 rounds out of the ball if dont loose it especially yellow.

  12. I do wonder how much different the two cheapest Titleist golf balls are from the two different Pinnacle golf balls. Same company… are the Pinnacles maybe actually previous versions of the Titleist golf balls? I don’t know, but I wonder. Do they sound the same when dropped on a smooth concrete floor?

  13. I like when I can watch one of your videos and it’s a golf video, and a cat video, because I like cat and dog videos too! That your cat played with the golf ball was a bonus. Can you please get a dog and include both the dog and the cat and the golf all together in your videos? Just kidding… maybe.

  14. I may put this on my list of balls to try, as I would love an excuse to give a company like Titleist which is still based in the United States my business. It's just hard when other really good manufacturers have less expensive golf balls, or at least yearly sales that give you a chance to stock up on their golf balls and Titleist just doesn't. My money just doesn't stretch as far as it used to, so it's tough to reason out spending even a few pennies more a golf ball when I know I'm going to lose three to seven of them a round.

Do love that they have a yellow version though. I'm sitting here in all my regret thinking that if the Precept Laddie just had a green or yellow version, I would never have to buy another type of golf ball again.

  15. Is the TruFeel and the Pinnicale soft basically the same ball? They both feel and act the same to me and both made by Titleist.

  16. I kind of miss the nine iron stats , but if you were to use eight iron stats , that would be a good inbetween between seven iron and nine iron , just a thought

  17. Do you maintain a list of which balls are made where? Not just brand as I believe I have seen a brand make their more expensive balls in the states but the cheaper ones in other countries.

  18. As much as I agree with you, I will tell you that the Titelist tour soft has outlasted every ball I’ve had in my simulator BY FAR!! I got my Garmin in 2020 and have been swinging almost every day since. 80,000 swings later that your shift is still going strong. I rotate about 24 balls and can’t believe that ball is still alive

  19. I think my box of Titleist TruFeel golf balls is a model that was sold between the 2022 model Nick reviewed 2 or 3 years ago and the new model reviewed in this new video. I think he did not review my in between version of the TruFeel (white colored) whose cover is red with silver writing and with what looks like one wide silver arrow pointing to the right side of the box. The bottom of the box touts “a larger, faster core” and a “thinner 2.0 TruFlex cover.” Any thoughts about this particular version of the TruFeel?
