What happens when you have 10 clubs in your bag that you can put the same swing on and hit the majority of distances needed on the golf course?

  1. I hit my 7i 160 yards. I hit my 6i 150 yards… lol. No bs. Very consistent with those two! 148-152 is my 6i 90% of my swings. The other 10% get lost in the aether lol. 90% of my 7i swings are 156-160 yards… it’s weird but true! My 5 wood is consistent at 220 yards, 5i 180, 6i 150, 7i 160, 8i 140, 9i 125-135, pw 110-115, driver 320… haha I wish. Driver 260 (on a great day 280)…

  2. So do you just get your shafts trimmed and gripped or is there more to it? I’ve been golfing for almost a year now and still learning. But I’m super addicted…already have a golf sim 😅

  3. When you’re trying to get as consistent as possible spin and decent angle are more impotent.

  4. For the record if anyone wants to try this you must have all your iron heads weigh the same. If you don’t you’re going to have heavy short clubs and light weight long irons.

  5. I think I need to try this out, I hit my longer clubs 4,5,6 much more consistently then 7,8,9. A lesson probably wouldn’t hurt either

  6. You need a fast swing speed for one length clubs or else the longer irons simply fly too low. I had the one length cobras – handicap 6.

  7. If you don’t mind me asking, what are you using to film your shots that I can see the ball flying I tried recording it on my GoPro, but I can’t never see the ball

  8. What swing mechanics change with those irons? You hit down on everything but a driver hahaha. You just don’t know how to adjust ball position to accommodate for a longer club. Simple as that. My 4 iron thru wedge are all the same strike. All down on the ball, then the ground.

  9. I have cobra one length forged tec iron set, been using it for almost two year now. It works pretty well for me from P and up till 7 iron. The 6 iron is kinda on and off and I hardly hit 5 iron with right distance. I end up having another normal 5 iron in my bag to fill in the gap. I think the reason is that cobra is having a progress lie angle with each different club and it is become problematic at 6/5th iron since the lie angle is a lot more steep. My 7 iron's average carry is 168y, and I pretty sure it is not my swing speed.

  10. These tips are for weekend warriors that can't golf and don't understand physics…. 99% of society😭

  11. One lengths are cool just a question of can you afford less distance at the top end of your bag, for more distance at the bottom end of your bag. Personal preference imo but would love to give them a try!

  12. i would only want same length for 4-7i idk about my short irons and wedges. i feel like id lose control

  13. Started learning golf last year at age 60. 3 months in, I learned that Bryson DeChambeau used a set of one-length clubs. Purchased a set of Orlimar Intercept single length clubs. Won my first tournament almost a year to the day after I first swung a golf club. One length, so much less to think about when setting up for a great shot.

  14. I’ll be honest I feel like I would actually like this. I didn’t realize it was that big of a thing until recently

  15. They peak at different height based on loft. For instance SW is going hit its peak height sooner because it doesn’t fly as far as 4i. A 4i is going to peak at its highest further down the fairway because it goes farther.
