Ben, a 77 this early in the year with how long you were consistently away from the game is EXCELLENT. You have nothing to be ashamed of. No doubles and no penalties will always get you those 70’s rounds. I just played a tournament at Katke golf course in Big Rapids and shot a 78 (12 pars, 6 bogeys) and a round equivalent to that in peak season when the conditions are better is threatening even par. I have no doubt you’ll beat this challenge. I’ve never seen someone with a self-taught swing like yours shoot this good you are in a league of your own. This is the year of the Bens 👍🔥⚔️🦬
