Justin Rose takes the podium to discuss his 2nd place finish as he went to a playoff against Rory McIlroy.

Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

  1. Top man and a credit to his sport a gallant loser a guy all juniors should look up to and how to conduct yourself as a professional golfer 5 Star 😊

  2. Such a shame that Rosey ended up the one in the play-off with Rory. Would have been very happy if he had won it – but also relieved for Rory

  3. Justin Rose was and is a fabulous young man. He was honoured at the last Ryder Cup. Rory said Justin is a hero of his and he has total respects Justin

  4. An awesome gent, I hope that his success continues and a green jacket comes his way before he gets to the twilight of his career.

  5. Class act this fella and so is his wife with her congratulations to Mrs McIlroy when she must have been hurting for her husband. Rose 2026 Masters champion has a nice ring to it 🙏

  6. What a guy! I really thought he was going to pull it off once it went to the playoff. Great sportsmanship from Justin.

  7. The way Justin has handled 2 play off defeats with such dignity says more about him as a man than winning those tournaments, an absolute superstar 👏👏👏

  8. I was really hoping that Justin would win this time, but Rory played the perfect play-off. Justin Rose is definitely my favourite golfer. He is a gentleman and humble. Disappointed for him. Next time Justin! You’re still young and in your prime.

  9. You led on the first day, the second and shared the lead on the last. The margins are minuscule. It could easily have gone your way. A fantastic week, thanks for the memories.

  10. You are a real ” master” as a golfer – despite not winning – and what a wonderful ambassador for golf. Thank you Justin for your amazing final round and the manner of your interview after the golf. I have followed you as a golfer especially in George SA and hold you in very high regard. Thank you Justin and I’m sure your mother is so very proud of you. Your time is still to come.👏👏👏👏🏌️‍♂️🕊️🕊️

  11. Given the fact Justin in 44 along with the terribly disappointing Saturday round(+3) where he couldn’t buy a putt, his round was one of the most impressive in the history of The Masters.

  12. Just simply, the man is pure class. Had one of the all-time rounds and would have been a worthy winner. Can hold his head up knowing that this was just Rory’s year. He is a part of Master’s history and I hope he gets a Green Jacket one day.

  13. Ditto to all the comments below. Patrick Reed would not say all this even if he was paid to say this.

  14. I never comment on these things, but! Justin is a true gentleman/ champion and all round human being. Dignity is everything!!

  15. So it was all Zach's fault 😅 Zach was a class act last two days, brilliant golf! Great man! Justin is possibly the coolest guy in the game and a great amabassador, he gives a lot back to the game, I would have enjoyed seeing him win.

  16. What a fantastic response to a lot of questions asking him to expose his emotional inner self. Just a class act, well done Rosie.

  17. Absolute class – eloquent, measured and honest. Justin Rose has reignited his career in his mid-40s and a Major threat every time he tees it up.
Was equally fantastic at Royal Troon in brutal conditions. Another Major looms large for him. Deserves at least one more.

  18. True champion!
Love your work Justin, it’s only a matter of time and you’ll be wearing that green jacket yourself!
