Wow, they assassinate Russell Wilson’s character maybe they didn’t think that he was a good fit with their team and has nothing to do with the individual himself. This is not a case of a player who was destructive in the locker room and didn’t dedicate himself to his job.

Let me remind yall what happened in Pittsburgh is the offensive coordinator, and Russell Wilson had different ideas. That's what happened. Russell wanted to throw the ball, and the offensive coordinator wanted to run the ball. With running backs and an offensive line, it wasn't good enough for that plan. Go watch the Cinn game. This is what Russell wanted to do. But the offensive coordinator said no. The same offensive coordinator that was FIRED by the Atlanta Falcons.

I don’t understand the hate for Russ. Excellent leader on field and off the field. Very positive and never gives up on team. Still playing at a decent starting level. People just want to create narratives, it is sickening. All the players on Steelers respected Russ. Of course Russ and Arthur Smith didn’t see eye to eye, Smith preferred Justin to start. But Tomlin is in charge and the one who made the decision to start Russ. I’m just speculating and I don’t have any inside info, but it doesn’t seem like Smith was totally bought in to what Tomlin was trying to do and it resulted in conflict with Russ. I still view Russ as the answer at qb but will they allow Russ to be Russ? I know 41 year old Rodgers is not the answer. Steelers don’t need the headache or drama that may come with Rodgers. We seen what happened with Rodgers and Jets.
