Golf influencer Paige Spiranac has backed Rory McIlroy to finally win The Masters after the Northern Irishman claimed victory at The Players Championship.
On Sunday, McIlroy – who saw his week start with an unsavory incident with a heckler – started the final round with a four-shot deficit to leader J.J. Spaun that evolved into a one-shot lead after 11 holes thanks to his remarkable start. However, severe weather caused a four-hour delay, and when play resumed, Spaun drew level.
