Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau are hanging around near the top, keeping things interesting as the battle for the green jacket heats up.
After a rough end to his opening round on Thursday when he double bogeyed two of his last four holes, McIlroy bounced back in a big way on Day Two, catching fire on the back nine — especially through Amen Corner — to keep his dream of a career grand slam alive.
Scheffler, on the other hand, had a surprisingly up-and-down round, and now there’s a pack of big names ready to make a move on Rose during what promises to be an action-packed moving day.
Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry are both in contention going into moving day at The Masters.
