  1. I know its only round 1 but it feels like an upset that Rosey is leading. This was slated to be the Scottie and Rory show. Also there is a story Im surprised they didnt bring up. Amateur Jose Luis Ballester made headlines today cause he decided to use the bathroom in Raes creek. Rory should be in the lead for sure. I think tomorrow will be interesting to see where the cut falls. Its top 50 and ties no more 10 shot rule. 62 players at +2 is the cut line.

  2. Rory is a choker, I dunno how many times you need to see this before you accept it. He finds ways to lose. He choked at the players, but just happened to run into a journeyman player who ran outta gas on Monday. All his top 5s and top 10s are him surging up the leaderboard in the final round after he’s already out of the running. Hes good for a 62 on Sunday when he’s in 30th going into final round

  3. Please its not indiscipline. Call it as it is,its simply he cant handle his nerves . that's his Hallmark not his driving!

  4. The bunching of Scheffler-Aberg-Hatton-DeChambeau seems like a group of guys who could be fighting it out this weekend.

  5. Watch Rory’s putter very closely – on his short putts, he lifts his putter too high and hits the ball above the middle with the bottom of his putter. He did this on the 72nd hole at the U.S. Open that cost him and he did it twice today. They all slide off to the right because of the spin. He needs to keep his putter low and connect the ball in the middle of the putter face. Very simple, but very important. I hope Rory sees this. If he does and he wins the masters, he can send me a lesson fee.

  6. Justin Rose isn’t winning anything except a crackerjack pencil. MciLroy is kaput and this is all on Rotella for filling his head with rubbish about his feelings. Hell he’s probably not making the cut. The winner is coming out of the pack on Sunday.

  7. the back 9 happened. it was like the anti-back 9 or something today. 15 sucked the life out of some ppl. still, pretty surprising, because Ludvig thrived.

  8. Scottie had some nice long putts which arent characteristic of him. If he continues his poor iron play tomorrow, he will not score as his putting mean will catch up to him.

  9. Do you feel Rory plays with emotion rather than % / Shots gained, I feel he should have been talked out of that 4i as the risk to reward was to great.

  10. I've heard the term 'indian summer' used for a sandwich before. Like, 'hey, be careful, that meatball sub is in its indian summer. But never for a career.

  11. lol so biased… says Rahm is probably out of contention but Mickelson is definitely out of contention… even though they shot the same are both +3…. Mickelson was just solo 2nd finish in 2023… when Rahm hasn't had a top finish lately… so biased.

Phil is still in it if Rory is.

  12. No surprise to me . Rory has been one of the best golfers in the world but never got it together at Augusta . Just not his course and maybe in his head at this point

  13. He made technical mistakes he doesn’t make. Which reminds me yesterday at the Par 3 —when he was supposed to take a break from all the seriousness and enjoy his family—he literally got interviewed 3 times by espn in those 2 hours alone.

first on the first tee by that one guy who talks too much; started the interview telling the audience this is a guy who is “desperate” to win.

Then an in game interview using those horrible headphones which had his daughter banging him for attention to get a move on it.

And then another interview after 9 holes of par 3.

He does the sit down interviews. He does the outside interviews. And it’s not like he keeps it light when he talks.

I don’t know why he does it but the Point is the media literally wears him out.

I really hope Justin Rose can stay away from the media just enough. Because I would love to see him win. I feel like his situation is more urgent than Rory and he has paid even more dues.

  14. If I wanted to watch two old guys talk I would’ve never clicked on this channel. No highlights just milking the popular with their pointless opinion

  15. Rory is becoming the Colin Montgomery of the Grand Slam. It eludes. I sorry. The haunting persists. Buy your Rory anguish mask at Spirit Halloween. Then go trick or treating in a golf neighborhood. ⛳️

  16. Couldn’t believe Rory dropped 4 shots in his last 4 holes. -4 through 14 then fell to bits. Had to go back and watch them to find out what the hell happened! I saw cantlay put 2 in the drink on 15.

  17. I feel like everyone is getting ahead of themselves after yesterday's round. Im kind of hoping for carnage today and seeing the whole field open up.

  18. It wasn't necessarily the 15th for Rory, that can happen on that hole, the 17th was the killer. Awful decision making, lost his head. If he makes the putt on the 14th I reckon he finishes no less than 5 under.

  19. A brain fart chip shot led to another brain fart 2 holes later.
A birdie became a double bogey because he chipped his chip 1 yard too long.
    👁️👅👁️

  20. omg I cannot believe the idiotic headline and comments here. Rory played great on 15. He landed on the green on 15 in two, but there was no stopping the ball, so it ends up beyond the green. He hits a very, very good pitch shot, but there was no stopping that either. Any shorter and the ball could have come back down to his feet. He then would have gone into the water on his fourth shot, and he would've gotten an 8. Justin Thomas figured it out… hit the 15th green in two and end up way over the green, maybe into the water that's beyond the green and you're looking at doing what Rory did, especially on a well-hit pitch shot. So the best play there was what Thomas did… lay up. But if Rory had laid up you all would be second=guessing that decision! The course superintendent beat Rory on 15 but it was a thin, thin line.

  21. Rory had to wait an age for Bhatia to play which broke his concentration and focus.8 minute wait for his shot

  22. An Indian summer in England is when September (for example) is really and unexpectedly warm: A late and unexpected good period.

  23. So Lav says the +3s are out of the tournament based on his cherry-picked data going back to 2006. We'll see but I think he's very wrong.

  24. Page and Notah? Not only is the tour blowing up from politics splintering fields, we are being asked to accept these commentators? Notah’s career as Tiger’s friend is over; he is a hyper critical, uninteresting voice. And Paige? What in the world does she bring to the party? Has she ever even okayed the course? It is becoming harder and harder to watch golf. And it is sadder and sadder to watch the pro game self-destruct. It looks like it is all becoming a gambling forum.
