Last weekend in Miami, Ripper GC showcased their prowess by clinching both the team and individual titles at the 2025 LIV Golf Miami, at Trump International Doral’s Blue Monster.

While the boys played phenomenally, the take away from last week was bigger than the tournament. For the first time ever, LIV hosted a pro am tournament formally titled “The Duels” hosted on Grant Horvat, where we got to spend some time rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in YouTube golf. Cameron Smith paired with Fat Perez to compete in the duo representing Ripper, and while the outcome wasn’t what were hoping for, we did walk away with a bunch of new Ripper GC recruits in Joey Cold Cuts, Mason Nutt, Bob Does Golf, and Andrew Santino.

Vibes were riding high all week and clearly felt throughout tournament play all weekend. Marc Leishman led the charge, delivering a flawless final round to secure his first individual LIV Golf victory. Leish went bogey-free in his final round and finished at 6-under. His first LIV individual win, and first pro W since 2020. Leish came with calm vibes and laser irons and sank the second-longest putt in the history of LIV on Saturday with an 86-foot “tap in” for birdie on hole 4. He beat out Charl Schwartzel by a single stroke on a nail-biter ending. Legend.

Cam Smith, Lucas Herbert, Matt Jones, and Leishman brought that Aussie grit and sunshine to South Florida. They shot 4-over as a team — and still won. (Yes, that’s LIV history — the first team to win while being over par.) The boys pulled together their fourth team title and flexed that chemistry like a backyard cricket team.

We’ll see you guys in Mexico City, April 24th for the next stop!
