  1. I get it. You want a consistent, controlled, shot – not max power. Releasing the hinge in your wrist may add too much variance to your distance (accelerates your club head).

  2. Hes saying that if you hinge your wrists and strike the ball, the top of the handle goes backwards on the downswing. He suggests not hinging the wrists and always have the top of the grip leading the face thru the ball.

  3. Best Lee Trevino advice I've used is to move the ball slightly back in your stance until you make good contact. I was playing most clubs way too forward and topping a lot of shots. Once I began to make small moves backwards, I started striking better with more consistency. 👍

  4. I understand he’s a legend but that doesn’t mean everything he’s says is correct. Perception is reality, and everyone’s perception is different.
