President Trump arrives in Miami on Air Force One
President Trump arrived at Miami International Airport on Thursday, April 3. He then flew on helicopter to his Doral golf resort where he was to speak at a dinner event.
President Donald Trump owns 16 golf courses globally, with two more under development.Three of these properties are located in Florida, two in Palm Beach County and one near Miami. While Mar-a-Lago does not have an on-site golf course, it is closely associated with Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.
President Trump arrived in Florida on Thursday, April 3, for his ninth weekend in the Sunshine State since taking office in January.
And this weekend, he could visit all three of his Florida golf courses before he leaves on Sunday, April 6. It’s also a big weekend at his Miami-area golf course, which is hosting the LIV Golf Miami Tournament for the fourth year in a row and was Trump’s first stop in Florida.
Here’s what we know about how many golf courses the President owns nationally and internationally and how membership works at Trump Golf Clubs.
What golf courses are owned by President Trump? He has 11 in the U.S., 3 in Florida
According to a 2022 list from Golfweek, Trump owns 16 golf properties around the world (11 of them are in the U.S.). There will soon be a total of 18, with two more golf courses coming soon to Oman and Indonesia.
Last month, March 2025, Trump International Golf Club in Lido City, Indonesia, opened. The second of his golf courses in Indonesia will be in Bali.
Three of Trump’s 11 golf courses in the U.S. are in south Florida: two in Palm Beach County and one near Miami.

What golf course is associated with Mar-a-Lago?
Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Resort and Club does not have a golf course on its campus, but Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach is less than 10 minutes away.
“Five minutes from The Mar-a-Lago Club sits the spectacular Trump International Golf Club, West Palm Beach. The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences awarded Trump International with the prestigious Five-Star Diamond Award, rating it the best golf course in Florida,” the Mar-a-Lago website says.
“This incredible golf course, designed by world-renowned architect, Jim Fazio, boasts 27 of the most magnificent golf holes anywhere and a clubhouse that has no rival in the state of Florida.”
If you don’t know, Trump’s primary residence is at Mar-a-Lago, his club and resort in Palm Beach, Florida. During his first presidency, it’s often referred to as the “Southern White House” or “Winter White House” because of the amount of time he spends here. Since taking office in January, he’s spent eight weekends at his Palm Beach home and nine in Florida.
It’s important to note that Mar-a-Lago is a private club, not a resort hotel that’s open to the public. A hefty membership fee is required to join, and Mar-a-Lago is like a country club for the uber-wealthy.
Does Trump have a golf course in Miami, Florida?
Yes! Trump’s Miami golf course, Trump National Doral Golf Club, isn’t in Miami proper, but the address says it is in Miami. Trump’s Miami golf course is in Doral, which is a part of the Miami metropolitan area.

“Members and guests enjoy a luxury golf resort and spa experience featuring plush accommodations and 5-star service.”
Trump’s Doral golf club is one of three of his golf courses in Florida. By the end of this weekend on Sunday, April 6, he will likely have visited all three golf courses in one weekend. From today, Friday, April 4, through Sunday, his Doral golf course is hosting the LIV Golf Miami Tournament for the fourth consecutive year.
On Thursday, April 3, Trump flew into Miami to attend a LIV Golf dinner, according to weekend plans released by the White House this week.
