HOI/Ace – Achieved when a ball hit from the tee goes directly into the cup on the first stroke of a hole, during a round of golf played under USGA rules*.
*USGA rules apply to par-3 courses according the USGA rulebook.
Mason has an opinion that par-3 HOIs do not count but in this instance that opinion is factual incorrect.

This is why I didn’t understand you not hitting driver all the time , as long as there wasn’t trouble or it was really tight ,because being closer to the green , even in the rough , is always better for lower scores 😂
If you can hit 320-360 yard drives , it doesn’t really matter where the ball ends up unless it’s dead
Just stop playing match play and only play stroke play you will 100% improve your scores. Match and stroke play is night and day. Stroke play is way way way harder because you are playing the course while match play you are playing just to be better than your opponent. You can score 90 and still win match play just as long as your opponent does worse. Love to see how you fair trying to make the cut with the Bryan Bros/ Grant on those major courses. Now this is the golf you are capable of, quit that match play nonsense. You need to be able to hang with Grant on stroke play. He is playing PGA tour players to up his game, and boy does it show.
