Are you sure that Rodgers is a better player than Cousins right now. You would be hard pressed to find evidence of that. Especially before the shoulder injury against the Saints in week 10. As a Vikings fan I am still holding out hope he is the starter in Minnesota the next 4 years.
Sure he does, and I want to be king of the world. Earn it Kirk. No one cares!
Gave a guy 100M to sit on the bench, good expert gm work there
This whole situation is hilarious.
As a Steelers fan I would much rather have 12 O’clock Kirk over Rodgers.
Cousins wasn't a starter when he was a starter! Most overrated Qb of all-time!
Mike Florio does not like the Browns and it shows
Demanding to be the starter after losing your job is diabolical. We saw him be a complete bum. With our eyes
Kirk has no leverage and next to no options. Last man standing is POSSIBLY Steelers who are still begging for Rodgers to hurry and come sleep over or POSSIBLY Browns who have a decent guy in Pickett and oh yeah the SECOND OVERALL DRAFT PICK in three weeks
Who else would take on cousins and his money right now in April?
Cousins deserves the bench he has stole more money than Al Cappne! What a ahitty quarterback who has fooled so many for so long!
Titans – go and get him! Draft a qb next year
I would like to see Kirk Cousin with the Browns
Hilarious they thought a scare crow would work. Your humans, living scare crows. If the birds land near you. Scarecrows wont work
Kirk held the Vikings hostage with his contract for years and he was essentially a one dimensional QB with a huge reluctance to use his feet as he knows that would increase his chances of getting injured and he has always been about himself and his bank account. Kirk isn’t capable of raising the level of talent around him, and the Vikings had to always add more offensive weapons around Kirk to get more out of him at the expense of a perennial top 10 defense under Zimmer!
Chris pretending it's about ball play with Rodgers is hilarious
The ceiling for Cousins is about 8 wins for a team like the Steelers, 5-6 wins for a team like the Browns and 4 wins for a team like the Titans.
Welcome to Cleveland, Kirk! hahaha
He's going back to the Vikings.
No trade clause. Trade him where he wants to go (or cut him) or bro is going to be a very well paid backup.
I mean we knew this would be the case 11 months ago lol
Wasn't Cousins an interception machine this past year?
Trade him to giants they need insurance for Russ 😂😂😂
Not sure he is making more than 10 million after next year as a 37 year old QB especially if he is backing up Penix this upcoming season. I agree that he might be an option for the Browns give that Coach Stefanski was with the Vikings & Kirk in 2018 & 2019. Not sure the Steelers are going to want another aging failed QB after dealing with Russell Wilson last year? Other than Cleveland, going back to the Vikings to compete with JJ is probably his best option, but after holding the team hostage with his contract I would only make that move if he was on a low end backup contract. As far as Atlanta is concerned, the can want some draft capital but I don’t think any team would give up very much for Kirk, so if they don’t want to live in reality they can utilize his services as the highest paid backup in the history of the NFL!

ATL at this point he will only continue to hurt the team. You have already wasted $62m, embarrassing yourselves on the signing of him. Get what can and move on.
Cousins is laughing all the way to the bank. One playoff win for 400 million. He has fleeced every team he has played on. 😂
Kirk is 🗑️”I’m so sorry I’m scared to go to a team with QB competition because I know I will lose. $100 million QB crying like a baby. What is the league coming too?

Steelers oline sucks
I saw this guy in Cleveland at a chipotle and I heard he was throwing passes with Kevin Stefanski
The Falcons deserve the cap purgatory they put themselves into. Stand behind the Cousins contract and eat 40 million when you cut him. He'll end up in Minny as a backup with his old team ….smiling all the way to the bank. Watch and learn….
I mean if not 36 then at what age is old enough to draft a successor??
@JuTalkSports @Smittysportsmachine Yo check this out. Hopefully, the organization will do the right thing and trade him. Otherwise, let him stay as the backup Quarterback.
No what’s diabolical was that he put himself before the team playing(like crap) injured knowingly hiding the injury which cost the team 5 straight losses. I’m surprised he hasn’t been jumped yet. Maybe that’s why they traded Grady Jarrett.
Browns going grandpa over shaduer is silly as picking a 250k mile-impala over a 0 mile-Tesla as your next car.
What they’re not saying is if the browns draft Sanders. My falcons are in a pickle. The giants got a qb cuz i believe they think they wont be able to get sanders. This could turn out bad.
Most overrated garbage time stats accumulator in NFL history.
Atlanta will regret trading Cousins!
As a Falcons fan it’s our fault for even giving Kirk that contract when we could’ve just drafted Penix
somebody get chris a new sticker for his laptop
Guys, I'll waive my no trade clause and I'll be your starter for like 4mil
He doesn't care about starting for a good team more than he wants money.
He could have stayed in MN with one of the best teams in the NFL for less money, but he chose a losing situation simply because they offered more money.
Let this guy have his money and end his career by keeping him on the bench.
If Cousins wants more money to accept a trade they could compromise and just push that guaranteed $10M up a year. He could get his $37.5M this year and the team wouldn't have to pay him the $10M in 2026 in the event he retires or agrees to play for only $10M in 2026. That shouldn't really bother Cousins because if he does play in 2026 he's likely to get more than $10M that year anyway so he doesn't really lose anything. I doubt he asks for more money though because if I were the team acquiring him I would call his bluff. Cousins wants to be a starter at least as bad as any team wants him as their QB. If he asks for more money it could result in him missing out on his only opportunity to be a sister this season. I'd tell him he can play for the $27.5M and be a starter or make the same amount of money and stay a backup in Atlanta. After all this talk about wanting to start I find it hard to believe he'd block a trade that would've given him his only opportunity to do so just to remain a backup. I wonder what Cousins will do if the Browns draft Shedeur. If that happens and the Titans draft Ward and the Steelers sign Rodgers there goes all his opportunities. Would he still accept a trade to the Browns if they tell him they want Shedeur to sit for a year? That would still be his best opportunity but it would also put him in the exact same position he was last year with Penix.
The Falcons have no incentive to release him and eat the dead cap.
Equally, it's unlikely a team wants to pick up that whole contract.
Cousins has no leverage so he better get his agent to tap up a team to trade for him.
No team is taking on that salary cap burden, no matter how desperate. That burden comes with Cousins.
Let's quit all this. We messed up, pay him and let him go. It's our fault
As a Vikings fan this is funny
