It's about ratings. Unfortunately, fans rather tune in to hear people talk about Bronny than here them talk about OKC or Cavs. This is the business you're in, everyone doesn't have the creative freedom or structure as Inside The NBA or even the talent that these guys have to keep it entertaining regardless of the topic. This isn't a shot at LeBron but although it's tiring hearing the same old about LeBron, he has literally kept a lot of networks going for decades.
One of the biggest reasons why Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith was such a hit was because of Skips takes on LeBron, same thing with Skip and Shannons and Shannons fanboyism for LeBron. Even right now, most people can't name the number one pick from the last class, they can't even name more than 5 players because Bronny was the energy and doing numbers. They cover whatever people tune in to.
If they start covering other topics while everyone else covers the same LeBron topics, they'll be left behind. You have a channel called DreamersPro that literally is dedicated to trashing LeBron, look at how his channel grew. Hate him or love him, talking about him will do the numbers. But being tired of hearing the same topics about LeBron or the goat debate is the reason a lot of us tune into a channel like this to hear something different.

I just don’t watch it because it’s just Stephen and Shannon Sharpe yelling at each other and I’m waiting for somebody in the studio to tell Shannon to settle down, but being overly black and loud is what ESPN wants so they’re not gonna tell him to be quiet. Fox Sports/FS1 gives somewhat of a range of political artistry…but not ESPN… if you’re not a rainbow flag waving anti-Trump pro LGBBBbbB+ whatever bullshit… they don’t allow you on that network. I remember when SportsCenter used to be fun as a kid now tell our stories about how women don’t dunk and we’re supposed to pay attention to that? Just all garbage. Anybody can logo it when the logos 3 feet from each three point line. It’s not a logo that’s just a three-point basket even the men’s tournament this year. I heard logo way too many times a freaking three-point basket and they extended the logo from three-point line to three-point line. Just so people can hear logo on TV? I can’t believe you guys are gonna work for ESPN next year…
