Hello.
I find the shot tracer very confusing and not just with you but in general. It always seems very imprecise. Still, good attitude, much better putts and those mitts make me think it was -5°. Each time you point to another video unfortunately they haven’t been added in

Been a marshal at open qualifying at Hesketh the last coupe of years (dads a member) and the 18th has been played as a par 4 on both occasions.
Matt, I have to say… this new attitude on the course is so much better to watch. Last year's vlogs were a struggle at times to watch because of the negative talk and attitude. As a long time fan, I will watch no matter what, but it is good to see a happy Matt instead of the negative Hulk.

18:43. A 235 yard 4-iron in the cold is never the play there. That had zero chance of ever being pin high.
You'll be able to arrange a match with Dan Hendrikson now that he's on board with Mizuno now.
The put for eagle on the last went 6 foot past then the putt back was about 3foot something fishy going on there me thinks

That putt on 18 went 6/7 feet past and your birdie putt was from 3 feet max. You also never have bad lies in the rough.

Crazy thought: What if you played in comps and tried to mirror a course vlog? It's a question of consistency and comfort. Maybe get up to the tee (like you did on the early par 3) and said (outloud but quietly and to yourself) "I'm just gonna try to hit a cutty little 9 iron and let the wind take it to the pin", the same as you do almost every time you play golf? Just like a pre-shot routine, or a pre-putt routine, it's all about staying consistent, and therefore comfortable. It might take a second longer to get a shot off, but you're vocalizing your intentions and staying in a routine. I think it could work. Just a thought.

12" putter back = 8 pace putt
8" putter back = 6 paces
Etc.

quest for the ryder cup team is my aim , i am 64 years old and have no handicap but i will try to get into the team i am going to buy some clubs and have a go

Content will be good but these rounds are with no pressure and the scores are still nowhere near. Finch a much better player and he bottled it massive in his round

Great content as always Mat not a dig at u in anyway but makes YouTube golf vlog creators think they have the game anywhere near enough good enough to qualify for the open when most of them are average at best x
