Min Woo Lee can now call himself a PGA Tour winner. That’s after the 26-year-old pro finally secured his first PGA Tour win on Sunday, topping the field at the 2025 edition of the Texas Children’s Houston Open.
Lee, who finished the tournament with a 20-under score, bested the likes of Gary Woodland and Scottie Scheffler dramatically to claim the victory.

The Australian ran into trouble down the stretch of the fourth round, as his tee shot landed on the water at the par-five 16th before recording a bogey. But he maintained his poise to stave off Woodland and Scheffler, who ended up tied for second place with identical 19-under scores.
“This is my first time being in front and trying to hold a lead,” Lee said after the event (h/t BBC.com). “I’m glad I got it done, but man, I’m just very exhausted.”

Lee’s big day led to his massive leaps in the FedExCup points standings and in the Official World Golf Ranking.
According to the PGA Tour’s communications department, Lee has racked up “500 FedExCup points and moves from No. 60 to No. 16 in the FedExCup standings.”

Lee’s huge win at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston also netted him a cool sum of $1.71 million.
So far in the 2025 PGA Tour season, the Perth, Australia native has gone 6-for-7 with five top 25s. Before his win on Sunday, Lee’s best finish this season was a T-11 at the 2025 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches.
