PALM BEACH, FL. (WCIV) — Lindsey Graham won the Trump International Spring Member-Guest Tournament Friday, days after the president endorsed him in his upcoming US Senate reelection campaign.
“I was honored to play in and win the Trump International Spring Member-Guest Tournament today,” Graham wrote on X Friday. “President Trump was awesome!”
Graham also praised the games of Gary Player and Finnish President Alexander Stubb, a Furman graduate, while needling former SC-04 Rep. Trey Gowdy.
“Trey Gowdy occasionally helped,” Graham wrote. “I almost never helped.”
President Trump certainly helped Graham’s reelection chances Wednesday, endorsing the incumbent senator for reelection.

Graham faces South Carolina voters in 2026 with ever-increasing scrutiny over his stances on the Russia-Ukraine war, Middle East conflicts, and Trump administration.
The Senator has faced protests outside of his home and offices across the Palmetto State recently as he navigates what has proven to be an up-and-down relationship with Trump. The two clashed in 2016 and after the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the US Capitol but Graham has been an ardent defender of the current administration.
