The PGA TOUR is Texas-bound for a two-week stint in the Lone Star State, beginning with this week’s Texas Children’s Houston Open. Germany’s Stephan Jaeger will defend his maiden PGA TOUR title, but he will have to hold off the top two players in the world – Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy. The 2025 PLAYERS Champion is back in action as he continues to prep for the first major championship of the year. Meanwhile, the University of Texas product and Lone Star State native Scheffler returns to Memorial Park after finishing runner-up here last year, in the hopes of securing a title before the trip to Augusta. Other players in the high-level field include Wyndham Clark, Tony Finau, Sahith Theegala and Min Woo Lee among others.

  1. He's a nice chap. Filled in Rick Shiel's divots for him and bought him a snack at the halfway house. Good lad.

  2. Rickie is like jordan but just a little more consistent … they hit incredible shots and putts but then they end up like 45th or go from first to like 23rd
