I too love those tea plantations in Yorkshire…or was it rhubarb? Roll the ball back ha! Pot bunkers look to be the solution – just make championship courses harder, tighter with more hazards and real penalty risk.
Xander wins for me he could have been 4 or 5 better yesterday if some putts had dropped he had alot of chances! On the Lowry drop, why is it not a case of all grandstands in all events are OB? Sick of seeing drops on tour when they end up in the fairway out of trees etc stands should be classed as permanent structures for the week and tough if you in its OB if your behind them tough why hit it there! 😀

Why is a driver and 2 putts ok on some par 4s with a following wind, but suddenly becomes ridiculous when players can't reach a long hole in regulation with a headwind? The only reason to move tees would be if there was something like a wide and long water hazard that due to the wind, was now practically impossible to carry from the tee.

I remember worse conditions in the Open. Can’t remember where or when but Garcia was playing. He’d have been fairly young. The wind was so strong and rough so thick they were dropping like flies.
