  1. Because they realised that Cancelo is worth fa now and they didn’t want this to go the same way ! Still cheap for me – watch what Brighton get for Evan Ferguson . 100m plus is market price

  2. City/The Emirates probably found a way of offering the 85M to Atletico so that they could buy Alvarez from them. Nobody in their right minds would spend that much on a bench warmer. it's all part of the ongoing cleanup act going on at City.

  3. One of the keys to City's success is a happy dressing room. If any player expresses a wish to leave, they will be allowed to do so provided that the right offer comes in. See Palmer, Sterling, Jesus and more.

  4. Will the owners and board directors let us throw a party on their table? Probably not, Julian is in the modern worth twice that!
Finally, being smart and safe with your monies finds home. Thank you…

  5. So what I’ve done basically he would probably gonna go for 40 million they said take him for 82 to 5 books and why you 40 million cash for directors to another account and someone else’s name exactly what has been done there

  6. He wanted to go. I think he only used City to get to Europe. He didnt even learn to speak English so I believe he wanted to go to Spain all along.

  7. It was not City who wanted out of the deal it was Julian Alvarez. City got the right deal they say? That is a senseless statement, simply because we do not know until we see how much it will cost City to find a replacement for Julian Alvarez and we do not know if that replacement is as good as Julian Alvarez was. All we can do is commend City for not getting in the way of a player who wanted to go. Pep is too proud and has a very short fuse for players causing distractions around his team. The day a player hints that he is not happy or does not agree with how Pep uses him you can count the days of that player on his team. We ridicule Misters who are soft with the players and then we call them egomaniacs when they are strict.

  8. Damn stupid…all haaland did is waiting for people to pass the ball to him…unlike alvarez that will run with the ball and score

  9. City never make it difficult when a player wants to leave
Sometimes I feel if you ask them nicely, you can get any player from them without having to pay 😂

  10. I think this is a blow for City. But I also said losing Gundogan & Mahrez last summer was a blow yet they still won the league. This idiot also said losing Gabriel & Sterling was a blow yet they went on to win the league. So I clearly know nothing

  11. Shows the difference in desire. Look at someone like Grealish who played less but still seems happy staying on the bench. He literally missed out on a Euros spot, yet here he is still at City
