WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (KUTV) — A fisherman found human remains at a golf course.
They were fishing in a pond near 4220 West Lake Park Blvd around 7 p.m. on Tuesday when they spotted what appeared to be human bones near the edge of the pond.
Officers responded to the scene and confirmed the bones were human remains.

The medical examiner’s office is working to retrieve the remains and will attempt to identify the person.
At this time, police do not have information about the cause or manner of death.
