Earlier this month, DailyMail.com broke the news that Tiger Woods, 49, and Vanessa Trump, 47, have been seeing each other since just before the Thanksgiving holiday.
And the couple have since gone Instagram official with their relationship after posting two pictures on social media, declaring ‘love is in the air.’
However, with renewed interest in their love lives, fans were shocked to find out more about Vanessa’s previous relationship with Don Jr. – President Donald Trump’s son – or more so, how the he proposed.
In November 2004, Trump Jr., also 47, proposed to the then model and actress with a $100,000 ring from a New Jersey jeweler, as per a New York Post article published at the time.
But what many may not have known is that in exchange for getting down on one knee in front of the jeweler’s storefront at the Short Hills mall – with paparazzi present – the 4-carat diamond engagement ring was complimentary.
Other social media users couldn’t help but comment on the unusual proposal after the bizarre details resurfaced in recent days.
‘Leave it to a Trump to get the engagement ring comp’d so he doesn’t have to spend a cent on it,’ one user laughed in a post to X, formerly known as Twitter.

‘I like the part where Trump Jr didn’t even pay for the ring,’ joked someone else.

Vanessa was married to Trump Jr. for 12 years after tying the knot at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort back in November 2005.
Together they welcomed five children – Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.
But the mom-of-five filed for an uncontested divorce from Don Jr. on March 15, 2018 in New York.

Trump’s arm was slung lovingly around her new beau, as he appeared to be drifting off to sleep.
‘Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts,’ Woods wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
However, according to body language expert Judi James, there’s more to these photos than meets the eye, as she suggested that one snap has them looking ‘self-conscious.’
She exclusively told DailyMail.com: ‘The pic in the hammock throws up body language that looks rather more self-conscious and awkward.’
‘Tiger lies back looking upward behind a pair of shades that hide his eye expression and his hand not touching Vanessa. His head looks like it lacks support on the pillow, making the pose look rather tense,’ she added.
‘Vanessa has cuddled into him in a suggestion of love and intimacy but even her pose looks a little contrived and awkward.’
