Ok, I’m not being funny….but when are the ruling authorities going to ban these broom handle putters. A putter should only be max 42 inches long and you should only be allowed to mark lift clean and place once whilston thegreen. If the USGA and R and A areserious about rolling back precision of strike and skill back into the game please keep gimmicks out.
I wonder who the winner will be? Is it going to be the guy in the brown shirt and tan shorts?
The pro game being reduced to a farcacle bomb and gouge and putting contest for outrageous bucks….pathetic….who is going to watch that. We want to see serious skill being brought back into the game like they had in the sixties seventies and 80’s. This is not entertaining and pro golf is embarrasing now. Out of kilter…out of balance. Thats why I’ve switched to watching womens pro golf….way more entertaining and skillful.
Watched him play Jimmy Bullard knew he was a winner waiting to happen.
Excellent pitch and putt reel. But a bit more GOLF next time? (Do the editors ever read the comments? If they did, they would realise viewers are not happy with the lazy putt-happy approach they always take.)

I don't know what it is, but I still can't get used to watching professional golfers wearing shorts. It looks amateurish to me. I realize it's probably triple digits when you factor in humidity. I guess I'm a traditionalist when it comes to the great old game of golf ⛳️
Short pants look foolish. They have no place in pro golf.
Why keep saying "golf shot" ? We are watching golf. Nobody ever says "Football goal" or "Snooker pot".
Congratulations Richard – not just a world class golfer but a wonderful man off the course. I have seen Richard grow up and this is the realisation of life of dedication and dreams. Fans may not realise this does not just happen Richard has been working at this since a boy it takes a lifetime to get to this level. I am sure this is just the start of his journey.
