  1. Hay Paul I’m trying to build a disc golf course in turangi in New Zealand It’s a low socioeconomic area but there is a whole lot of talent do you feel like helping us?

  2. Structural racism needs a story line that starts with we are here to help you and show you the way and help you create a legacy. Jackson Park is not a wasteland waiting for salvation or a legacy. This video ignores the multiple of families from across the south side already long times users of the park whose voices are not apart of this discussion. The president of the Jackson Park Advisory Council can not speak for those families.

  3. Appreciate the enthusiasm and I'm glad to see the investment, but Jackson Park is hardly a "forgotten public park." It's located to the south of rapidly gentrifying Hyde Park, right next to the University of Chicago and the Museum of Science and Industry. Plus it's less than a mile away from the future home of the Obama Presidential Center. It's already home to a golf course, marina, public beach, and lots of sculptures by famous artists and is basically one of the most visited and best-kept parks in the city. Also, for the history buffs, it was home to the 1893 world's fair so there's always been a huge interest in preserving it and keeping it nice for visitors. Again, glad these folks decided to invest here, but I wish they had done some more research into the history of the area before putting out this video.

  4. big respects to the Paul Mcbeth foundation and the work they do around North America and hopefully the globe!

  5. this is amazing! what a wonderful story! Great job everyone! hopefully community governments will see the value and doing something like this and take it upon themselves to invest in these kinds of projects!

  6. “Every park needs a disc golf course” and I couldn’t agree more! Awesome video hope to see it grow more in inner cities!!

  7. Man, having lived in Chicago for the past 15 years (moved away recently) the desert of disc golf courses was painfully clear. The suburbs are amazing for courses, but if you live in the city limits there's virtually nothing.

  8. Chicagoland players… there is also a disc golf course in Berwyn. Only a few miles from the city limits. Great course, called Shadow Creek.

  9. I love, love. love this! It is sooo Inspiring!
Found this while trying to find a presentation for me to use to help propose this to my very hesitant city board. Really wish I could help turn our unused wetland area, into community building blocks.

Praying that 🙏 God will hear my prayers for our youth and folks of all ages in my small town. Let this be the tool, that will bring us closer to each other & more importantly closer to him!
